mystery machine Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 (edited) Looking forward to seeing the pics once they're rubbered-up 45 should be a nicer drive i guess on strathclydes finest quality roads You're not kidding - Strathclyde's roads are shocking. Add to that the volume of traffic, and I pretty much avoid the place altogether - which is great news for Strathclyde, I guess Edit: Just spotted the pics - you're not pulling punches with those rims! buffalo Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 great choice dude. what did you wrap them in? if i asked nicely could you pm me the name of the sellers name on ebay you purchased these from
thefastone Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Now, I have to say Keira... I wasn't keen when I saw the pics of the wheels before you fitted them... however... I dont think that they look that bad fitted... pretty sharp... they suit the car better than i though that they would...
stubaroo Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Very nice indeed. If your wondering where to get decent black nuts, I went for the following: Black lockers and Black standard nuts You will also be able to get a SIDC discount.
Big Gordon Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Looking good Keira , are you pleased with them yourself?
empty_heed Posted October 19, 2008 Author Posted October 19, 2008 i' think the seller only had this set buffalo &they ae used wheels. the yellow rim tape stuff has been added to the wheel. i've already ordered new nuts so the wheels are back off just now. waiting on new mudflaps too. yeah i'm pretty pleased with them gordy but look forward to having sufficient nuts on so i can see how the wheels feel at speed
