heazille Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Welcome and enjoy the forum steve, No doubt custom will have an idea, there are only a couple of places on the rock that we would trust!! You coming to the Chinese tonight to meet some of us!! Ta Ta Richard Scooby Island
Boxer23 Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Yep, talk to CustomScoobyIOM nicely. He's bringing a trailer-load of parts to the Island this weekend.
CustomScoobyIOM Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Hello Do you want noise? Or just bit more power. Heres a few options. Ring me asap as I am coming over this weekend and can bring some cheap. Firstly Paul @ South Coast Performance can fit no problem very good. OR slightly cheaper is the ATS garage at the end of Pulrose Road. What car do you have? Magnex Decat with Downpipe - £350 approx Nice box. Louder than standard, more power. Subtle. HKS Hyper Decat - £600+ One of the best flowing systems on the market. VERY VERY loud. Excellent performance. I have this one at the mo until i get my own system on. CustomScoobies TFL system - Full Stainless decat with titanium tip (Will be on an island car this weekend). As good system as HKS yet cheaper. £500 CustomScoobies TFL Twin System - Same design as the TFL Single system, but twin tailpipes. HUGE! Looks the doggies danglers. Will soon be fitted to my test car. £525 +vat Amongst others. All depends what you want then mate. The 2 I designed are excellent if I do say so myself
Boxer23 Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Jon I want the CustomSoobies TFL exhaust!!! (what does TFL mean).
heazille Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Is there no end to your capabilitys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sweet! Ta Ta Richard
-Steve- Posted February 18, 2004 Author Posted February 18, 2004 GC8D4ED is the model code of my car. It's the import WRX STi3 4 door. Want more noise and more power (who doesn't eh???) sti exhaust is so quiet compared to some i've heard
Boxer23 Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Get the CustomScoobies TFL, mate. If you want to hear it in action, the demo car ( ) will be out this weekend.
Boxer23 Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Mine's louder, mate!! No girly bung either!
dooahhdoo Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Blitz, excellent sounding and awesome with the bung out. Bung out tonight Dave???? LOL
Dave K Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 I think it can be arranged, probably blow the windows out of the chinese like but hey.
dooahhdoo Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 When you reach my age young man you will appreciate a bit of peace and quiet is required now and then
Boxer23 Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 And when you're my age, the noiser the better!!!
Dave K Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 LOL@Nick, Just wait you'll see him going down Victoria steet windows down, dump valve going, exhaust howling...... And bloody pumping out his ears.
CustomScoobyIOM Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 You need a TFL!! A twin system!! Thats what mine is going to have Nick you old fart
Boxer23 Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Dave, don't forget the baseball cap! Lol. To the Max!! PMSL. Want to see if I can smash every window along Victoria Street just by pumping the accelerator!! Ha ha ha WANT NOISE! Suits my subtle image.
Dave K Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 How about a scoobyworld Ninja back box £215 I think looks the part.
enCrypt Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 As already recommended to someone else the other day, a TSL Firestorm mate. Huge 5" tailpipe, nice and rumbly on tickover and 'restrained' driving, and a mighty roar on WOT! Got mine for about £300 all in, inc getting it over here. And Island Exhausts on the quay fitted mine for a tenner.....which was nice!
dooahhdoo Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 No no no no no no. Blitz. Steve, (nice to have met you BTW) at the next meet ask the IOMSIDC tart to take you for a spin in his. The sound is fantastic but after 20 mins in the car at high revs it WILL give you a headache! Thats the beauty of the bung! Take no notice of the Vin Diesel lookalike, he is as mad as a packet of Polo's in a washing machine
CustomScoobyIOM Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 You want the full system. See what you think of the TFL Single system on the TypeN car. Combined with the dump valve going.
