Hi Guys, New Member Popping In To Say Hello!

Hiya, just joined sidc and thought i would pop in to say hello as we live just on the border of oxfordshire/gloucestershire and my partner is a witney lad. I'm from up north originally but please dont hold that against me!

We have owned the scooby for just over 4 years now, it's been our main family car and used daily and has been the most reliable car I have owned. It's a standard 1999 silver classic with sports exhaust, red mud flaps, and bright red subaru sunstrip, oh and a mcrae gathering sticker on the bonnet.

You may see me around and about in Witney/Carterton as it's usually one or the other for the weekly shop,

we are going to rallyday on sat, but not in the paddock as we joined too late for passes, but will hopefully get to some meets sometime in the future.

HELLLLLLOOOOOOO and welcome :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think i might have already met you guys on the A40 a while back - I was in a blue lexus having a bit of fun, all friendly and if it was your motor, blimey it shifted!!! :angry::D:rotfl:

Hi Matty WRX, thanks for the welcome, dont remember that A40 moment, but could have been my other half, he likes to have a bit of fun in the scooby when I'm not with him!!! He cost me over a grand to repair the gearbox diff when he had been playing racing drivers with his mate's caterham!! I'm a bit of an old lady driver compared to him :rotfl:

Thanks Stu,

I always wave or flash if I see another scooby, dont always get one back but nice when you do, have even been known to wave to the old evos before but that's a woman for you B)

The scooby is quite tidy, but usually covered in mud cos of all the driving down the country roads I do lol The mudflaps do help though since they were put on.

Found a photo of our scooby on whisperuk's mcrae pictures, his last photo, silver classic with lady in pink top stood on sill taking photo, that's me!!!

Oh and to Matty - my other half denies all knowledge of playing with a lexus lol :lol:;)
