thewelsho Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 so time to de-sticker the car and disappear into the background then Never! Ever! And the number plate is NOT being corrected either. I'll leave it like that till the take it off me, no point in having it with the correct spacing

That's about the sixth or seventh pull I have had since I got the car and as yet, have only received a fine for the number plate. What Bugeye was yours again?
terzo neil Posted August 8, 2008 Author Posted August 8, 2008 i yhink it's 3 pulls for the plate and it is taken from you and back into the pool, you may never get it back and back to it's orginal number and a period of no private plate allowed

thewelsho Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 So John, how many times did you speak to the big guy upstairs during your hurl in the RA? A constant and open dialogue! LOL! Na, to be honest, I felt totally at ease, Jim is well-capable behind the wheel - had a great laugh too
the squiggle Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Yup the boy sure can drive and looks damn fine in a set of dungarees
micra_wrc Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 (edited) sounds like the usual antics for a Glasgow meet then Edited August 8, 2008 by micra_wrc
sti pretender Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 another lucky escape not only for welsho but also me as some auld git tried to run me of the road. did you see it Robert? He hesitated so long on passing that truck and then when i went to pass he decided to pull out, lucky it was quite a wide bit of road. Then he growls at me when i do pass him wot i say to him. Thought you were going off road for a moment, you gave the guy long enough to overtake the tractor and then you signal, start passing and he pulls out. Tw*t. Anyway good run, roads were fun and not to busy.

jimser Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 It was a good meet too, almost spolied by the incident with the cops, but all's well that ends well. Co-piloted the Barhead Bomber. and what an experience that was, had a good few laughs and a good few frights! Car is rapid and well handled by it's driver. I kinda got lost in Strathaven as I was too busy trying to get my face and my spleen out of the back seat! Thanks for the experience Jim! glad you enjoyed it mate, even though it was on the map lol
