scouk Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 pittey we never knew about it sooner we could of got a stand lol Aye.. Was speaking (sort of) to ScoobyDoom about that very suggestion today.. But with it beinga USA style party not sure the Jap's would be welcomed as much.. Need to keep an eye out for similar events though! Gonna start looking into getting a SIDC banner made up and some leafelts designed.... So we can quickly jump on these things...
scooby doom Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 We could still turn up and the show'd be in the car park

But instead of Texas line dancing we coudl have japanese girls in bikinis!!!. .. I know there's probably laws against that sort of thing.. Edited July 30, 2008 by ScoUK

Peter W Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 I'd forgotten about this one. I was invited to take my Mondeo along (Touring car replica) I don't think there are any restrictions on who or what turns up as long as it adds an attraction to their show. I know the people who are running it so I'll find out more tomorrow.

scooby doom Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 It'll mean a bit of spit and polish but count me in 1. ScoUK 2. Peter w 3. Scooby Doom 4.
Big Gordon Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I was asked to take my Trans Am up to this one but it's a wee bit too far away and it only does about 10mpg. Thought about taking the Scoob up but it's still a hell of a trek
oxbig1 Posted August 2, 2008 Author Posted August 2, 2008 1. ScoUK 2. Peter w 3. Scooby Doom 4. Oxbig1 might as well ill b goin any way. dam that means a early 2 bed the night. well ill try a early night what about a meeting point b4 hand?
scooby doom Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 what about a meeting point b4 hand?Good idea. I know we've to be there before 10am but we don't wanna turn up about 10 with the punters do we? Was thinking we'd probably need a bit of time to get in place for a final wipe down before the event opens. Being late entries we don't want to be late arrivals too.
