Cracking evening so I took a wee drive up to Knockhill to see the toys getting flung about the track.

yh Great pics too guys, The S.I.C.C is alive and kicking, My wife is a photographer so i borowed her wee back up camera last night and gave it a bash all be it with automatic settings lol,

Thought there would be more people up at the Knockhill last night but it seemed to be low key,

Lol I'm in the passenger seat in the first shot, look at me hanging on for grim death!!! Second shot that's me driving, a tiny bit sideways I see. Those tyres at the chicane were a royal pain in the a***. They'd have done in the whole side of your car if you dare hit them.

I have to admit why I ended up off there. I race in the Scottish XR2 championship and ICR Motorsport who prepare the XR offered me some tuition on Monday night in the ST. Those shots of me going off is after I was shown by Iain Cowie of ICR how to drive around Knockhill in an ST. I was a bit too eager to start with trying to copy Iain's driving.

Did anyone notice I had smaller rims on later on, from about 7.40 onwards ? Those were race slicks and my god were they good! Reason was the road Pirelli tyres were absolutely shot that were used earlier!

Hopefully Monday night will make me quicker this weekend at the SMRC meeting in my XR2!
