Trailer or no trailer everyone is there for one thing. It just depends how confidant you are in the car take the poundin it needs and still being loyal enough to take you home. But at the same time i can see were the trailer comes in to play, example - I have seen grant hanging about at crail waiting on someone going all the way back to Perth then back to crail to take home an ill car.

Here is a wee quote from AFP  .......

" On the 19th Sept the car clocked a top speed of 199.4 MPH at Bruntingthorpe proving ground. The car was driven 300 miles to the event and drove home again. "

The only thing i've ever been racing any time i've been to crail is myself and my own bad luck. 5 trips in 2 years has cost me a broken gear stick on the strip on my first ever run and a cracked wind screen on two other occasions during the journey there.

If it was a proper race it would be first across the line yet at crail we always ignore reaction time hence why some of up wait till were ready rather than when the lights say go.

Regardless it will be good fun just to see half the cars mentioned in this topic regardless of trim level.

If you guys are thinking July date then it's academic for me, I'm at Boyndie competing (that's the going round bends kinda stuff, rather than the 'tricky straight' stuff you are on about here).

Grant, my approach, drive too and from, just have the chase car and trailer following

part of the fun for us guys driving up from the glasgow area is the drive there and back

but if i did have a trailer and tow bar on my bmw i would consider trailerring the car up there, save a

fortune on fuel and as im not in the aa/rac etc,no worries there if anything goes bang

To be honest who cares if you drive up, or bring it on a Trailer. Lets not take things to serious, as long as we enjoy the day out the more the merrier, my personel oppinion is I love the drive up and the drive back. If it brakes mod it lol....to be honest would be happy if it was the August date as not back untill the 8th July....cant wait if not hope all has a great day out

Just renewed my RAC just incase never say never.....he he

Peter is just getting his excuses in early :D:thumbup:

I see Colin is getting his excuses in early too...

There are valid point from all parties here.

I can understand all of them and if i had a trailor , i think i would be using it too...

A trailor is for the posh as we nobles can't have a scooby and another car plus a trailor to take us there :)

Lets get a date sorted and enjoy this special event.
