mikeyb13 Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 (edited) cracking pic neil!! is that the new impreza? or a focus? or a citroen? who knows The new "Subaru's" looked fast but not what u would call pretty. If it doesnt look good jumping over a crest a 100mph in Rally trim it never will. You just couldnt tell what it was until you saw the badge Has the world gone soft? it looks identical to the wifes Focus! Edited May 26, 2008 by mikeyb13
jamesm Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 (edited) Jim Clark is always good although I felt it lacking something last year. This year was fantastic though and a great weekend with the opportunity to get round a good number of decent stages. Still just doesn't have the atmosphere it had in the early days of the closed road event, base in Duns and running at night though. In the end I managed on Saturday, Abbey St Bathens (Int and half the national), Ayton (int and a few nats), Langton (int and a few nats again), Fogo (all ints and nats) and Edrom (all ints and nats again). On Sunday it was off to Bothwell (all ints and Reivers), Leitholm (Reivers 2 runs and Ints once) and back to Bothwell for the Reivers. Was good to bump into Imy and Grant, and meet Scott, Rosie, Gordyq and Gus the Bus. I am not a photographer by any means but here are a few of my efforts with my wee point and click camera Abbey St Bathens Ayton Langton Edrom Leitholm Bothwell Stunning drive from Steve Bannister to 2nd overall in the Reivers in his Mk2. If Fenwick's time penalty had stood, Bannister would have won. Proof that on a dry day, a seriously sorted Mk2, with a bit of luck and a lot of talent can mix it with the best of them. Neofox Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Ah so the SICC was represented by some fine photographers at the Jim Clark, cracking pictures guys! Somehow though i managed to bump into no one! decided to hit some spots that i thought would be a away from most people to get a clear shot. Heres a wee selection, I shot somewhere in the region of 1500 photos so its taken this long to look through and choose some favourites! Some others can be found as per usual on Stillspeed.com
marky.t.s Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 crackin shots there mate, the last one with the focus is a good one
