RS Grant Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 (edited) I run fully synthetic 15/50 Motul 300V in my Hawkeye STi. Cheers, Grant Edited April 29, 2008 by RS Grant
fraser87uk Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Oils are completely dependant on engine types. Scoobs like fully synthetic, I love the Millers 10/60 - here >>> http://scoobyparts.com/acatalog/MILLERS_CFS_10w_60_OIL.html But dont think that all engines like fully synthetic. Say for example if you have a rotary engine which actually inject the oil into the engine to get burned then fully synthetic doesnt work well at all. They need stuff like mineral oil as it leave no deposits when burned. Just my 10 pence. Hope it helps bud.
thewelsho Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 also what's best, full or semi synthetic? Fully synthetic for a Scooby (if Hypertech are to be believed ).
fraser87uk Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 If it was me i would 10/60 that engine. Fast hard revving one that is.
white RA Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 If it was me i would 10/60 that engine. Fast hard revving one that is. i take it that will be full synthetic?
