fai17 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Na, your car is full of my Yesterdays But it went great back in those time
hi_jac Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Na, your car is full of my Yesterdays GT30R, 2.5, 6 Speed. Looks like i will have to turn my boost up
arch Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) GT30R, 2.5, 6 Speed. Looks like i will have to turn my boost up What like at kames You are also making assumptions about what is fitted to my car also what classes or even where or what i intend to do next year You should spend more time on your own car rather than stalking me Edited February 5, 2010 by Arch
hi_jac Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 There you go again, getting all defencive and argumentative.
J.C. Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 You are also making assumptions about what is fitted to my car also what classes or even where or what i intend to do next year You not intending on doing anything this year Archie? Time Attack perhaps
hi_jac Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 You not intending on doing anything this year Archie? Time Attack perhaps
J.C. Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 JAC, you coming out to play again this year? Or are your plans top secret too
hi_jac Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Yes i will be out to play. Car same spec as last year apart from 1200cc injectors, Halteck ECU, AP's . Nothing top secret here How's your car and will you be playing this year.
J.C. Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I am planning on doing the Hills as usual, car still needs a fair bit of work doing, fixing the damage I did last year and few new bits to fit/replace.
hi_jac Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 I take ma hat off to you to have the balls to go flat out. Am trying to but something inside me won't let me. Hope all goes well FOR you this year
J.C. Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Cheers JAC, but remember I have been doing Hillclimbs for over 10 years now and my Fiesta is not my road car or anywhere near as valuable as your Subaru. So if/when I crash it is not the end of the world. Trying to learn the tracks in a car with a lot of power must be difficult, it would be easy to push too hard. I am sure your times will improve this year, not that there was anything wrong with your times last year (especially considering it was your first season). Hopefully there will be a few more cars in your class with similar performance, it is more enjoyable when there are people you can compete and compare times with.
john_stevenson2 Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Will do Dale when I take all the bits out of the boxes lying on the garage floor ---john---
john_stevenson2 Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Finally started work on the car for this year. Bit late as usual, but we'll get there Spent a night, removing most of the Time Attack related Stickers, what a 'mare of a job ! (Note to self, don't let Craig withing 12feet of a car when he has a box full of Stickers) Also removed the old rotated Garrett setup, originally built by Andy.F 8 years ago it has seen service on Andy's original white RA, then John Banks car, then my red car and finally this one. I originally slagged Andy about the welding, but in fairness, 8 years is a fair innings However, it's really tired and brittle now. So have some nice new Lateral Performance Headers and 3 bolt up pipe to build a replacement from. The old and the new
RA Dunk Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 lol, Getting info from you is like extracting teeth!
