are you sure its not the awd car your thinking off?

nope, seen this on another site i use, P20SPD is Steven Darley (AFAIK)

I spent most of the day under and around John Stevensons Subaru in Club Pro, and despit a lot of serious engine issues he managed to set reasonable time in the final just before the engine let go

Hi, good news is the rumours are false and the engine didn't blow, in fact it saw through two out laps due to traffic, then two flying laps (all be it, compromised by power due to measures taken to aid it's survival) then it got me back to the pits (never a good feeling walking back :crying: though it had gone a bit lame by this time :D )

Three things saved it, the strength/quality of the Lateral bits, Chy's build/block (if it had been an EJ257 it would be shrappnel right now) and some very clever use of the Solaris ECUs facilities by Andy.F

We new ahead of the final what was going to happen out there and Andy, remapped it to suit. Thank you Mr F ;)

I'll say this for the build and the parts in it, they are fecking strong ;) To be subjected to what they were put through and to still be in one piece is something else :)

Cheers for all the good wishes guys, makes me feel better already :crying:

I'd really like to thank, in alphabetical order... Andy, Arch, Craig and especially KennyS for the help in the last few weeks getting us there, thanks guys !!!! :D

We had the car on the rolling road at Hypertech so Andy could map it last Wednesday. Duncan was very sympathetic to our plight and allowed us to run into the evening with a very noisy car, I really hope I didn't cause them any grief from the neighbours. Thanks Duncan, very much appreciated !!
