RA Dunk Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 im under the impression this has been on the go before paul made his announcement about them
JohnSt Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 I've been working on the details of a dry sump system for a while, Paul anouncement possible saves me the bother of actually making it. Assuming the figures he is quoting can be acheived. I don't need one just yet as I don't consider it necessary for the first couple of venues we'll be visiting this year. It's the bit above the sump that is going to be the Nads !! Basically Fuji Heavy Industry would not recognise the final result

It seems to be the little jobs that pile up. I've been helping Paul get his new car ready for the season and it forever seems like there's still wee bits here and there to be sorted. A wee bit of SIDC assistance has come in very handy with a good contact for some engine help though.
JohnSt Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 More action today, never let Craig within 30ft of your car with either a hole saw or a pd saw in his hand !!! Roof scoop now functional rather than Bling Rear Bumper pods in Paint New MEF Motorsport designed/CompBrake Manufactured Pedal Box New Fuel tank, lives in boot where the old 'Icle' one was, but should allow me to more than 3 laps of Knockhill without having to refuel
RA Dunk Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 some rather "Gucci" stuff there John My roof vent`s real though

RA Dunk Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 lol i my car doesnt get anywhere near 180, i`ll be lucky to get 140 from it with the shape of the scoop on your roof will it not cause any kind of drag? i know it wont be much but with you every hundredth of a second counts
seafar99 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Dunc, the scoop has a vent at the back to let air flow through,
