st3ph3n Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 The DC camo ones are cool, but I bet they're not cheap. I'm sure a guy down in England has done it though. The aforementioned, but sadly no longer available that I can see, trainers:

The only thing I have decided on is a definite change.
oobster Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Another vote for the camo one from me John - but as said you'd need to go for a lairy wheel colour. Very different from the now quite common WRC graphics.

Enne_aitch Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 cheers man, i didnt read the second page, like a right tube. i really like the idea of the dc pattern, with camo... how long do these vinyls last do they fade or anything?? wouldnt mind doing the camo one on mine.. although im not sure if its better standard.

The DayGlo ones on my car and several others who went to the same suppliers have experienced some very bad fading, shocking actually. The parts that are more upward-facing are practically white. The only plus side is that they are stuck fast and there is no sign at all, anywhere of peeling. The blue ones are much more flimsy and have come off in places. They have been on the car less than two years.

Cheers Gary Not yet mate, I'm undecided! I like the Monster Energy Drink ones and I also like the sister car in the Red Bull Livery. I'm going to wait until around easter till I have the cash for it and then make more progress on it. Also, the thought of taking all those old ones off is filling me with dread, another reason why I am stalling!
rallyfever Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Hi Welsho, I just took all the decals off mine yesterday, I bought a Dewalt heat gun for £28 and it only took around 2 hours to take off the whole lot, best £28 I have spent for a wee while. Let me know if you get any pics through as I will be geting mine done within the next couple of weeks, I have a design already in mind that my brothers Evo6 is decalled out in (it's just a tad boring as it's advertising the business) Mind you I have a week repair job to do first as when I removed the sill protector yesterday the sill fell to bits - clearly the protector did not do that good a job!!! Cheers Gary
