sKunk
Sorry mate, never used one. If you can drive calm for 1 min before switch off you don't need one. I'm sure someone will be along to help shortly though. Edited January 18, 2008 by sKunk Link to comment

scoobymadburd
Think the parking brake wire is under the handbrake itself think it was a brown wire for us not 100% sure but worth a look! Claire Link to comment

I cant remember what the wires are but if you are really stuck i can go in to my ecu and tell you, as i have the same one fitted. Good luck Link to comment

If you were to wire the handbrake switch into the timer then when the culprit releases the handbrake, the engine will cut out and the immobilisor will kick in Link to comment
grwp
Seeing as you seem to have timers, as a guide, if I drive "normal" for last mile before home, generally is about a 10-20 second idle before turning off OK? or are the timers advising something far away from that? I was considering getting one, but then some people say just to calm down last mile or so and all should be OK... its a MY04 WRX generally standard... Link to comment

buffalo
i have been tempted to buy i turbo timer more than once, but have been told with the subarus you cant just leave the turbo timer running and lock the car n walk away???? the central locking doesnt work or something? i would've thought this would defeat the purpose of a timer?? oxbig1 can you engage the timer the jump out and lock ur motor while the engine turns over on the timer?
