Thanks to JohnS, Dale, 4Hero and all you other SLR tarts who inspired me and drove me into this expensive hobby.

I now look at the world in terms of potential images which is getting outta hand........

Nice one Cal. :lol:

I've just done the same myself and bought my first SLR...an A100. What did you get yourself? Took a few test pictures yesterday, but i've got SO much to learn. :D

I feel soooooooooooooooooo outdated running my Canon EOS D-60 with only 6.5 Megapixels :D

Couple of Canon and Sigma lenses too! so should be back out at the events this year once the weather warms up.

Best thing about my job reassignment is that I'll be in Australia for BATHHURST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPEE! - Petrolhead heaven.

Ahh yes, I got my first SLR in 1987, beautiful piece of kit, automatic single shot, the FNs used by other countries had a fully automatic option, it wasnt long before we had to convert to the SA80, or L85A2 as its called now but the SLR was a real elephant gun, 7.62 nato or .308 if you dont dig metric...........................
