A big thanks to Pete, Euan, Alan and the outsider Richie. For making last Thursday night a good last meet. I was not expecting other than Pete so was quite suprised. It is going to be somewhat different in the flatlands of Lincolnshire :):brickwall: and having to travel more than 10 miles to get to some good roads out in the hills.

So all the best for you all and I hope the Elgin Scoobies a good future and hopefully over the next few years. I will be visiting and able to meet up, even if we do allow the odd misguided individual to tag along ;):) . Hopefully he will see the error of his ways and revert back to the goodside of the fence.

Your welcome steve

Hope you get involved in all the SIDC action down south of the border and tell us how they do it. We will look forward to seeing you return for some hilly action :brickwall:

and maybe I'll even have reverted back to scooby ownership (I miss my burble) :)

Don't despair. I spent spent a while around Lincoln and can assure you there are some fantastic roads in every direction. It'll take a while, but you'll soon be using the ditches to help you corner (on the wrong side of the road) and grazing the log piles on the kerbside like the best of them. All because it's so flat you can see the road 3/4 corners ahead sometimes :D

Of course you'll have to make the obligatory Friday evening jaunt to Skegness for doughnuts - both kinds  - every once in a while.

Good luck,

Steve.
