andy Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 All my previous photo-vid type efforts have been introduced as "I've been Playing" or "I've been playing again" type stuff. I have been doing that thing again, but certainly didn't enjoy it this time. I've put together my little tribute to the events of last weekend - but be warned, it's a BIG download and may say "Buffering" for a few minutes. I expect demand to be high - so much so, I've put it on both a primary and a mirror web server. Neither web server is SIDC so it's not using SIDC resources. If the primary site is too slow, try the mirror site. High speed broadband users can view it here: Primary Site Mirror Site For those without broadband or who wish to have a copy to keep, it is downloadable as an executable file here: Primary site Mirror Site Note - the offline viewing copy is an executable file, but only contains the video player. It is guaranteed totally virus-free. I've not credited those I took photos/video from. Sorry. I went on a bit of a leech-fest and grabbed so many pics and video I lost track. Thanks to all. If those who have video featured wish to send me higher resolution stuff then I can up the quality. I just hope I've done justice. I had several soudtracks in mind and tried a few, but given Colin's taste there could only be one song. Sorry it dips in the video clips. That's the editing package that does that. If I can get higher res video I'll try and sort it. Expect a judder down the spine at very least and few tears at most. I had both putting it together...

john mac Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 That video tribute really hit the spot ,cheers for taking the time to put that together. I've had scoobs for nearly 9 years now and followed rallying for even longer and cant believe we wont see the big man in action again, so videos like that, although sad, help bring the good memories flooding back. That is also a fantastic album you have there Col , i love just how natural looking they are , the one with his dad and wee bro is just so touching ,bringing back memories of the good fun and atmosphere of the motorsport show. Never forgotten.
hosstheboss Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Fantastic stuff - very very moving. I couldn't make it down to the service so it's great to see some pictures and video. I wouldn't mind getting hold of the Saltire stickers with Colins birth and death dates on - can someone point me in the right direction?

st3ph3n Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I know what you mean Imy. I don't want mine to run, so I'll watch it when I get home.

Richie Cross Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Andy, Great stuff. Worth the download time and it's something we can keep to watch over and over!
