Wave Or A Smile Or A Nod

Hi all. Is it me or my imagination that scoob drivers just dont like to wave so much now?.Was heading to Fife today and was next to a Scoob near the bridge and they didnt even bat an eyelid.Was it because i was in a 98 wagon mmmm i just dont rightly no .

I always wave to other classics and most of the time they wave back, but I dont bother waving to any newage anymore because I have NEVER had a wave back

i wave to all impreza's i see but im begining to think i shouldn't bother as hardly anyone waves back

then were all domed.... you know that sits something that get complained about every so often... and its normally that the New ages dont wave tot eh classics... Personally I think its just down to jealosy....

I wave to every scoob I see and usually get a wave or an acknowledgment in return

actually, i wave, flash and beep the horn if its a scoob i recognise.

And i'm getting better at spotting them earlier LoL

I drive a newage (bugeye) and waved to a green wagon (classic) last night , only to be totally blanked

I wave to every scoob, flashed a green classic on the back roads to Paisley this evening...... the driver was 105, probably couldn't even bloody see me.

I wave to pretty much every scooby I see, yet the only people to wave back are people that know the car The "young dudes" just seem to glare at me as if to say "who the F*&k do you think your looking at" and the older drivers must think i've mistaken them for someone else..

It's truely sad.. For a while I was getting more waves from Bikers and Evo's Now I hardly get any response.. But I'm not giving up!... Unless I get RSI in my writs from waving too much...

But yeah I do sometimes feel the drivers of classics somehow don't accept the newages so much... I wanted a classic! But he bugeye was cheaper on insurance!

I've been waving like a crazy man at every scoobie I see, but I've only had a few back. I initially thought all scoobie drivers waved (like vee-dub, or 2cv drivers) but it seems more fickle than that.

Like yourself ScoUK I'll keep at it until my wrist breaks, or they tow me away to the crazy pen!

When I had my 1st Scoob back in 2000 Subarus were a bit of a rare sight and you got the wave of acknowledgment every time. Now I would say 50% of owners wave back. I own a newage and will wave to any model of Impreza and even EVOs! I actually got ignored from a club member in a garage forecourt yards away from the meet we were both going to! Strange.

Had my first scooby in 2000. my95 wagon every fecker waved to you. Then had a legacy GT-B ex prodive car no fecker waved even with my 555 plate on it must have been scared i burned them in it.

Confused my self then by getting an Integra type r stuck my plate on it I didnt know who to wave at. had my my03 wrx ppp for a year now. I still wave and now get strange looks from the 10 year olds driving K plate imports. Still am really chuffed when i get waved or a nod. So lets stop trying to act dead cool and acknowledge the scooby coming past you.

I generally wait to be waved to these days. I was sick of getting nothing but blank expressions or angry stares in return.

Always wave back though. Sports, Classics, Wagons, New Age, Ill wave to all. I even waved at a pensioner in a Justy once. Just to check.

Should be a notice in the first page of the owners manual about mandatory waves to other Subaru drivers.

I've had my RB320 for 6 months now and always wave at other scoobies no mater what type they are. Sometimes i get a wave back but more often than not that's always from the older scoobies - c'mon all you trudies in the newer scoobs, give us a feckin wave min!!!

I give a wave, nod or kick to all bikes when on my bike obviously and always get a wave or nod back.

I used to do it in the scoob but after years of getting ignored or the what on earth are you waving at you moron look, i gave up. If someone waves at me i always wave back though.
