Subaru On Last Chance

Hi all. New site looking good!

Well after my previous post on the cost of owner a Impreza, and having to fork out 160 notes for new front pads after only replacing them 6 months previously. My clutch started slipping yesterday!!

I now have a £300 bill to look forward to next week.

Its the final chance for the car, as thats around £700 I have had to fork out over the past 6 weeks or so!

If there are any more expensive mechanical needs this year I am punting it!!

I'm moving house soon and I'm toying with the idea of getting rid of ma scoob (my brother wants to buy it) but I just can't bring myself to do it........it's just the running costs which are making me think about it.

I know what you mean, I have spent a heap on my scoob in the 22 months I have had it but it's the best car I have owned.

Have to admit that most of the money has been on mods but I reckon I have spent £5000 since I got it and another £650 last week - £500 for front Discs, £150 for pads and I'm only home 6 months of the year to drive it..... Grudge the pads as I had Red stuff ceramics and the only lasted about 6000 miles. Went for DS2500 this time.

But as I said to Julie (and she foolishly agreed) - lifes to short.

Trade it in for a Newage! Just be quick about it, before that cr4p hatch takes over!

Gogs - your going to the wrong people for bits again, 2-piece discs and DS2500 pads for 540 pounds.

I've done it for 3 sets so far on the Newage STi's (2 sets Godsped, 1 set DBA) and results we VERY GOOD!
