andy Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Right Scoobyholics, I'm looking for a bit of help. I'm building the "garage" for the new website and although I've got make/model drop-down lists sorted out, I want to do one for "variants", but have no idea where to start (I only got 1 right in Squirrel's quiz so that shows how much I know...) There have been so many Impreza special/limited editions over the years. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to build me a list of all of them between you. []
oobster Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 This recent thread over on SNet might be helpful Andy
z1000 Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 The list with engine/chassis codes in the faq would be a good start to expend from.

the squiggle Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 If i won the lottery, which i dont enter so i never will win but hypothetically. I would hunt every one, including the weird and obscure ones like the Electra One and Operetta, of them down and make them my car collection then make McRae an offer he cant understand to teach me how to drive them like his Daughter
st3ph3n Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 WRX STI A-Line also the RA-R is actually the Impreza WRX STi Spec C Type RA-R Best named car ever? Also Squirrell - you're a legend.

You are also a legend, my pure massive built like the side of a Shell station friend wi size 20 racing boots in RED.....Bright red PS, is our friend under moderation for his wee Grandad outburst last night
marky.t.s Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 STI Version 1 Acropolis i like the sound of that one ,what was so special about it?
the squiggle Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 STI Version 1 Acropolis i like the sound of that one ,what was so special about it? 200 made in 94 to commemorate the Acropolis win of that year, basically a Version 1 STI with a plaque with the build number on the drivers side strut tower. There was another STI rally version 1 with a 200 build number but i am not 100% sure of what rally it featured, the squeaky voice in my head is saying San Remo but i try to ignore that voice in particuler
z1000 Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Impreza Operetta V-Limited Toshi Arai Impreza Casa Blanca WRX STI Electra One So what about these ones ?
st3ph3n Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Toshi Arai is a Japanese rally driver. He has a thoroughly amusing profile of himself in clearly badly translated english on his website - http://www.toshiarai.com/en/profile/index.html As far as I know the V-Limited Toshi Arai was a V9 STI Spec C which came with some extra trimmings of his choosing?
st3ph3n Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Oh and there was the WRX STi Petter Solberg Edition. That was what prodrive used to create the WR1. It was sold outside the UK. 500 of them exist.
sti pretender Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Think you should mention that not all Impreza's come with turbo's []. Some of us started with 1.6, 2.0 and Sports.[]. Hats off to Mr Squirrel he puts all of us to shame.
pav Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 There were 3000 solbergs made. 1000 ice metallic blue, 1000 red and 1000 wr blue. prodrive used 500 ice metallic blue's for the wr1. most were sold outside Europe. Majority in Cyprus I'm led to believe[]
andy Posted August 14, 2007 Author Posted August 14, 2007 Thanks for your help so far guys, but I'm not finished yet! Obviously it would be nice to have fields that could be completed for Rolling road info, but being technically clueless I have no idea what fields would be required. If someone can enlighten me I'm happy to get them in there []
ANDYJDMSTI Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 WRX UK300 300 WRX's played with by Prodrive, numbered 001 to 301 with no number 013 built. []
andy Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 I hate bumping topics, but can anyone provide info as to what info fields I should supply in the new website "Garage" for Rolling Road information?
nanaki Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Never having been on a dyno i'd be guessing but i'd say the following location date max power rpm max torque rpm and if possible a location to upload a print off of the dyno map would probably go down well. could maybe have a look here for some ideas Also would a section for quarter mile times be possible or should we continue the mega thread as we currently do for now?
