craigwrx Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Some of you will know, many will not, but for some time now i having been looking / trying to find a mint P1, looked at several private cars, but they never came up to scratch, i have traveled many miles over the pasts several months but to no avail, although i am now pleased (for me) to say i have finally become the proud owner of a P1 [] ...purchased locally ..(Dealer) The car is totally mint with the most complete history i have ever comeacross, a large folder full of receipts ...even the original bill ofsale. Brand new engine built by Prodrive and fitted by a Subaru dealeronly a thousand mile ago.Purchased the car from my local Subaru dealer, so also includes ayears warranty on top of the engine warranty that already exists.Just made a phone call to the chap that part exchanged it at thegarage, top man i must say, i am buying the private plate he had on thecar... he is also going to throw in a brand new ( well nearly new )full set of Prodrive mats he had acquired, car does not need them atm,but still nice to have Took the car out for a spin and can not believe the difference betweenthe P1 and my WRX 300 ...the P1 is so much sure footed, it is likenight and day between the two cars. Will not be collecting the car for two weeks cause the dealer isgoing to re-paint the front splitter ( had a few stone chips ) and givethe car a full service and apparently change some gaskets on the newengine which where due to be done after a thousand miles. The car is totally standard apart from the Prodrive (optional) upgrade brakes/discs and the (optional) upgraded Sony 10 CD changer. Will get some pictures up when i collect her []
