Thanks for the welcome. [;)

On the rear bumper, there`s a wee crack. Previous owner put a little sticker on it rather than fix it.

Not had the WRX that long, it`ll be in to have all paint and any little dinks sorted soon.

The white classic is full in and out replica, makes a real cheap runaround.

Crimond Stock cars is about a 2 min walk from my house. Been hearing them all day today.

fit like min, im along the road fae you in peternapper [;)]

I`m good thanks. I`ve just been into Phd, had to get my white scooby from my mates drive. My WRX is in at Cartech having it`s Turbo/Downpipe gasket replaced.

But a bolt decided to shear itself, so it`s still there till tomorrow. but I still gotta get to Aberdeen tomorrow for work. I took my white one off the road, so had to re-add it to my insurance for a week.

Nice cars Phil. Love the colour of the WRX, very unusual. Welcome to the club too, plenty of action up your neck of the woods. The national day for Scotland is held in Alford and is only a few weeks away.

Thanks Again for the welcomes and nice comments on the cars.

As for meets and events, usually try and make site meets and organised events. So, should be tagging along to most. (Work permitting that is).

Im liking the colour of the blue one, the white one looks good also i might know a couple of youngsters who may be interested.I hope you gave your new car a thorough service because the west yorkshire importers where you got it dont do anything but rinse them with a hose before selling.

I`ve got £2k I`m prepared to spend on any niggles. I bought the car with eyes wide open. Saw it`s flaws. Got the price dropped a tidy sum. I`m not afraid of buying a car that could require work, just as long as it`s reflected in the price, or at least be haggled down to a price

Got him to tax it for 6mths "after" we agreed a price for the car.  So, it`s in getting the known problems sorted and having it looked over for any further or potential ones.  But so far so good.

I`m thinking this car was once owned by a Paid Member here, it has the SIDC Sticker and an SIDC wallet on the windscreen to hold a membership card

Got my WRX back from having it`s jobs done. Quite Happy with the cost, but Totally Chuffed with the results. Boosting and Running 100% better. Didn`t realise just how much I had been losing.

So, my white Scooby is once again relegated to a mates driveway.

what did ya get dont to it anyways? did i spot you last night in peterhead as well, waved to a silver one last night thinking it might be you, didnt get much of a reply though [;)]

no, wasn`t me. i would have waved back. didnt get my WRX back untill 5pm today, was in Cartech since saturday.

there`s a few silver ones in this area. mine isnt silver, it has a pearl blue flip through it

the car had both the turbo/downpipe and up pipe gaskets replaced.  A sheered bolt rethreaded and replaced. Plus a bit of Cast Welding on the Turbo Housing Bracket where the bolts go.

She`s running and boosting 100% better than before. I didn`t realise just how much performance I had been losing. Well chuffed...  Not too bad of a Bill either.
