  1. Yep, My V1 Type-RA Still has it`s 112mph Limiter and still goes round in KPH.
  2. Really Nice To See My Find On These Car Mats Has Gone So Well Big Well Done To Mark For Taking On The Group Buy

  4. Just got my Scooby Back from having Body and Paint jobs done.. Very Pleased with the outcome... Need to get some Clear Front Indicators Now
  5. Yep... Emails are best... That`s how I got in touch and got booked in earlier this month..
  6. As Was Said Earlier......... The Guy Coming To Collect The Car Can Bring Cash With Him If The Buyer genuinly has the money, then what would be the problem? Unless, There Is No Money!! Stick to your Gut Feeling and Steer Clear of this buyer.
  7. I Have HKS SSQ on my Type-RA.... Also had one on my previous Scooby.... Ive always loved the sound from them. But, yep, as said in above post, they are pricey for a genuine one... Plenty of cheap HKS SSQ lookalikes on Ebay, but not sure what you`d get for your money with them.... 8. Aye, I could get near 30mpg on a steady run on a motorway, but realistically, I don`t think many Scooby owners live on a motorway... So it`s urban roads, town roads will be the norm.... Which is the only reason I say it`s a wild claim as a selling point on a Scooby... LoL.... Come on though, How many of us bought our Scooby`s cos we thought we were gonna save the planet with low emissions and Fantastic MPG...
  9. That`s It............... Im swapping my Type-RA Gearbox for an Auto One.... LoL But Seriously, 40mpg is a totally wild claim to make on a Scooby.... Which would also make me wonder about his 310bhp claim too..... EBay Link - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/subaru-impreza-WRX-wagon-automatic-AWD-/260792151529?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cb86c6de9 He`s actually claiming 350bhp in the Details section.....
  10. That`s A Sore Quote... Insurance Companies Are Just Wee
  11. Oh Yesss..... That`s The Way I`m Looking To Go.... That`s A Stunning Version 1... They Are So Rare In Red Early Type-RA`s do look good without the frills. This Is Mine As She Is Right Now, She`s No Rust, So A Good Starting Block
  12. Aye, Just had a looksee at it... Yep, it`s a very nice one indeed.. Version 1 Type-RA`s are getting few and far between now, so a good clean one is always special to see But I`m thinking of taking mine back to the no side skirts, no boot spoiler look of how they originally left Subaru
  13. I always go to Norlins @ Dales Ind Est Peterhead He`s done work on my previous cars and always does a good job and reasonable price...
  14. Well, my car is under way for getting a her new lease of life... Was down at Andy Forrest on Monday having a much needed Re-Map - All Good, 100% better performance and drivability now Now booked in for some body work jobs 27th June... Having My front bumper`s crack repaired and re-sprayed, also having my Number Plate Moulded into the drivers side fog lamp area. (I have no fog lamps anyway), got a fog lamp cover for the other side which is being re-sprayed too... I do have a wee choice to think about...... I have new STi Corner Spats for the skirts.. Do I Have them sprayed and fitted, or do I go for a bodykit strip.... Side skirts off, My High level boot spoiler taken off, then have the holes filled, smoothed and become spoilerless and skirtless..... I Kinda fancy the idea of taking my Type-RA Back to it`s roots of how she should originally have looked...... As it`s a Version 1 Type-RA and a very Rare Red One, I`m thinking this is the way to go.... Then, it`s a few wee jobs ready for her MOT in September
  15. I`m hoping some that has organised Group Buys Before Might want to jump on this, as I`m not that good at that sort of thing. I have all details needed to get in touch with him, Web Link, Email Address and Phone Number.
  16. I didn`t have a Dyno Run, so, new BHP is not known... But I have Dyno Print of the car when it was on the old Map, boost was 0.85bar... And it was 300.3bhp........... But the car just wasn`t running good back then... Mapping on it was very questionable I did find out I don`t have the Turbo I thought it had... Which is a good thing, as I`d hate to advertise her for sale and sound like I`m telling Porkies... The guy I bought it from said he thought it was an TD05 18g or maybe 20g.. But turns out it`s a TD05 16g.... I`m not too upset about that though... She pulls well with it.. My new Map, with the low boost setting which is now 0.95bar, Andy I think says I should be on a healthy 330bhp.. And My Higher setting is 1.2bar.... But for me, today wasn`t about getting bigger BHP.. It was getting the car to behave the best it could..... Which Andy has definatly succeeded with... I will be having her on the rollers once I`ve finished a few more jobs. She`s having a wee touch up in the paint department... Also thinking of stripping her back down to Original (No side skirts, no boot spoiler etc)... Also a few jobs before her MOT in September... At least I know my car is healthy... No scary problems hiding away..... Which for 18 year old thumper ain`t bad...
  17. Just back from my trip down to Andy Forrest for my Mapping Session. My Red 1993 Version 1 Type-RA I have an Apexi Power FC and an Apexi AVCr... Andy found out straight away that the Map on my car wasn`t doing the car any justice and was wrong. I kind of thought that anyway, cos the car had never driven like I expected it should. So, he set about getting rid of that and giving me a new custom Map This had been my first time with taking one of my Scooby`s for Mapping and it was very interesting. I was chuffed that no scary nasty suprises were lurking in my set up.... Apart from Needing My spark plugs changed, or the Gap checked on them. I have a higher boost setting on my AVCr, but I`ve to sort the Spark Plug Issue before using it. But to be honest, my lower boost setting is so responsive and snappy I`m over the moon with it..... It really was like driving a totally different car home.. So, Thanks Again Andy for giving my 18 year Girl a new lease of life....
  18. If someone from Admin would like to contact him for a proposed group buy and to negotiate a discount that`d be good. I know he`s interested in the group buy offer, but I`m not too good at sorting that kind of thing. I have his Email and phone number if someone wants it..
  19. I think he`d offer Group buy on all orders for Impreza`s from SiDC whether they be Classic, Blob, NewAge, Hawk ETC You`ll have choice of lots of colours for the mats, choice of colours for the side stitching and of course, a choice of colours for the embroided Logo`s.... He`ll embroid any logo as long as he gets an image of what it is you want. The quality is actually very good indeed, I`ve bought mats before for similar price and they`ve not been as good. Plus you get a full boot mat as added bonus... What a difference the boot mat made to my boot... I went from Scabby drab grey to a presentable Red.. It`s a pleasure to open the boot at Tesco`s now LoL
  20. I know what your thinking... "New Mats" Nothing special there.... But I found this guy that makes his own Mats and does his own embroidary He was selling a newage set with WRX embroided on them, But I wanted Classic`s and Type-RA on them. He said no problem, just email a photo of the Logo and he`d sort me out He had also just completed a group buy for the Impreza RB Owners Club He would also be interested in offering a group buy price for here. So, got a nice set of Red Mats x4 and a full boot mat in Red.. 2x Front and the Boot mat with embroided Type-RA Logo`s Here`s the link to his Ebay Shop.... Very Friendly Guy, chatted on the phone to him I Payed Full Price of £59.99 + £8.50 Postage.... But I`m sure a discount can be arranged on a group buy
  21. Congratulations "Whoop Whoop" Does This Mean A New Bay Forces Reluctant Scooby Sale Post.... He He.... All The Best To Family
  22. Everytime I`m thinking of Selling the Impreza I have at the time, I always say....... "Right, that`s my last one... Audi A4 TDi Next"... But I keep going back and getting another Scooby.. I`m on Scooby Number 5 now.. LoL....But when I sell this one in Sept..."It`s my last one and I`m getting an Audi A4 TDi" Which means I`ll be on Scooby Number 6 in October ... LoL I`ve always Fancied a Type-R.. So good luck in fiinding yourself a Cracking one Joe..
  23. Never been a true fan of the Blob... But that`s not to say I dislike them altogether. But, aye, This is a nice one.... A Very nice one... Alot of time and money gone into it and a very quality looking car as an outcome. The rear spoiler, Hmmm.... Very Marmite.. You`ll either love it or hate it I guess. The Price... £17,500.... Once a car has money thrown at it and it`s no longer possible to compare and price it against a similar aged car, it`s totally down to a buyer, if he likes and wants it enough, then they will part with cash.... Would I part with £17,500? I wish I had that sort of money.. LoL. For that money, I Think I`d prefer an Litchfield Type 25
