  1. No worries matey, it's well worth taking your time and doing all the research you need. No point in rushing the job just to find out something didnt go as you planned Cheers, Col
  2. Ah cool, outside is great, if it were stuck inside it would never be seen
  3. Ah sorry Stu, I hope my faint rumblings didnt spill your pint I was on my way to work for a 4 hour piece of work....I got home at 1030 at night after a few delays brought by an inept customer However it wasn't all bad, I had the whole road to myself on the way home from Swindon so it was me, the moths and lots of freezing cold air
  4. Let us know how you get on Deadbolt
  5. Anytime me old mucker, I wouldn't want any unanswered queries - talking of queeries I wonder if that car park gets busier when it gets darker
  6. Nice piccies there Ant, the later shots of your car are super bright must find my sunglasses
  7. Ah yes were all a friendly animal loving bunch but I'm sure its only illegal if they catch you though
  8. Lets hope it still works tomorrow when Matty takes it back
  9. I reckon the meter peaked at 122 and was broked strange how almost all the reading came out 121/122/123db's - shame about the lack of mankinis though
  10. Yeah was good to see faces to names only seen on the forum Aye tis a good place to have a meet, sort of local for all, apart from Ant where Didcot is a bit of a trek. BBQ sounds fun, with a bit of summer weather, parked close to the river, closer to the pub and a bit of swimming with the swans
  11. Ah yes, good point I'll shut up now then
  12. Lol yeah, I think I'm in for a kicking from Matty now
  13. Nice work there Ant, looking nice and shiny now
  14. Hi Stu, I can give you a lift should Matty have any problems, I mean its going to take ages to wind up the rubber band on his electric car
  15. I thought shandy bass was a type of guitar
  16. Are these stickers for the inside or outside, as my rear has been pimped and my windows are blacked out too
  17. Sorry for bringing up an oldish thread, where can I get me one or two of these super stickers from? Cheers, Col
  18. Hmm petrol toasted marshmallows, thats fuel for thought
  19. Thanks for the info Iain, I couldn't get 5w50 so settled for 5w40 fully synth instead. I measured what came out of the sump and got around 3.8 litres, with the oil filter still attached, of thick gloopy goo. I replaced with the same ammount of the nice clean stuff and getting a good reading on the old dipstick just over the F mark. This is with the car on a slight down slope so on a level road should be ok, hopefully If anyone's after a set of screwdrivers, Halfords have a set of 8 decent screwdrivers, retailing for £19.99, for free if you buy some of their own brand oil. Happy days Cheers, Col.
  20. Ah cool, thats very good news, I wouldn't want to induce any leaks with the car, the longer its leak free the happier I'll be, Halfords it is then Cheers Muchly Col
  21. Stu/Iain, when you say Halfords do a 5W50, is that their own brand named oil or another manufacturer ie Castrol/Mobil etc as I've always been a bit wary of using own branded fluids?
  22. Just had news of late cancellation from work, so I will be there 01. Stu 02. Matty 03. Ant84 04. Kylie 05. Myles 06. Ed / SP 07. Matty's mate Paul - ZM Coupe 08. Vimmy 09. 10.
  23. As always, great help chaps i'll grab some 5w50 tomorrow. Cheers Col
  24. Hi Guys, advice needed, I need to swap out the oil when I replace my oil temp sender so I went and bought some Mobil1 Synthetic 0w40 today from halfrauds, now on reading the forums (which I perhaps should have done before) it seems this is too thin an oil to use. Do I take it back and get a different oil, their choice wasnt too great, and should I use semi or fully synthetic stuff instead. I currently have magnatec 10w40, but Halfrauds didn't sell it? Cheers, Col.
