It looks quite tidy, but he's concerned (And rightly so) that there is no Ident Plate for which No of p1 it is. Just wary that it could be a Type R, tarted up to look like a P1. I've told him to post on P1OC, which I think he has done, but i said i'd ask for him on here as well. The service book is full of Brian Downie stamps, so could well be an Aberdeen/shire car. Al

Is the general concensus that It wise to avoid these guys? My car is due its 2nd (20k) Service pretty soon, and really want a main dealer stamp in the book.

Very nice mate - I remember actually going to test drive a WR1 but ended up buying a new Hawkeye - The WR1 i looked at wasnt in the best of nick. Yours however looks mint, and I'd still love to have one in the future. Enjoy it!
