  1. If you looking for someone local then there is always the guy thats just done my respray, he did a brilliant job, and he's only in swanley village.
  2. Congratulations to you both, Give Daniela and Daisy our love, Really pleased all is well, We'll have to make Daisy her own name sticker for the Scoob, Keep us all informed. Take Care
  3. Hi Mate, welcome to the forums, there are quite a few of us in Dartford your bound to see some of us around.
  4. I know Arron (guru) had a dump valve for sale at quite a good price, not sure if he still got it, give him a shout.
  5. Not sure about HTA splitters, ROAR recently brought one for his cassic, it was thin and full of air bubbles when he got it, he put a lot of work into it to make it look good but it still didn't fit well, then he just scrapped a drop kerb and it shattered, So thats 4 of you now whose done splitters, hope its not catching. I'd reccommend jdl for splitters, i ripped mine off last year and run over it and it only needed a little bit of cosmetic work before it went back on
  6. Evening All, Definately looking better, well done to all that worked so hard.
  7. Spotted Mrs Leebo this morning at crayford retail park ,you wouldn't have noticed me i was in my galaxy.
  8. Hi There is an old thread on scoobycity regarding this, they seem concerned that with the amount of cars that turned up last year it was at the capacity that the city centre could cope with so they may do something slightly different, but they have stated that it is definately on. and confimed date as 16th.
  9. Thats the same as i pay on my 2.3 galaxy, the scoob is cheaper because its older. dont make much sense.
  10. Wohoo i can talk about brakes here not get disciplined [], I personally think you should save up and get a complete front brake conversion, go for some nice four pots with braided hoses, dont need to be bigger just better, we have replaced our disc's with vented and groved but they are standard 278mm (had to keep the same size if i want to use turbo rims on track),and braided hoses and 4 pot bremsport calipers. We replaced the rear pads with mintex ones and now she stops on a penny, it was well worth doing especially as we have no engine braking [Y]
  11. I wouldn't recommend taking the turbo off to do it, anything like the classic's i know then at least one bolt will shear off, as Granby said its not really worth doing.
  12. OK take no notice of me then [:@] [] [] I took notice, i didn't mention brakes. [] would've been rude not to reply.
  13. It couldn't have been me you were following, my little car has been on a little holiday for the last 3 weeks [:^)] she should be home very soon thou.
  14. Are you sure that is all the bhp you are running, my little unmodded auto is running more then that (hence the brake upgrade as i have no engine breaking). Would have thought she is pushing more then mine. Yours does sound good thou, we often hear it when you are out.
  15. Hi Tony Perhaps i'm just being a girl but wouldn't it have been wiser to uprate the crap 2 pots before you done all the engine mods [:^)] Its nice having al the extra power but its worthless if you cant stop, I uprated my front ones with a set of bremsport calipers and groved and vented discs and it made such a difference, i would definatley recommend uprating the brakes next [Y]
  16. We had a ford galaxy which had the vw vr6 engine and it was bl**dy quick and that was in a heavy galaxy (i'm sure granby can vouch for the speed of them), we have just brought our 16year old a mk2 austin mini, low insurance and loads of bits you can still buy to make them look good.
  17. Sounds like fun, but we doing rally day too, if we not back to late we may come sunday like last year.
  18. Just goes to show the cars are only as safe as the person that drives it, driving at that speed in the rain is asking for trouble, Gives other subaru owners a bad name.
  19. Cheers mate, dont go there often but when i do i wont be using my card. []
  20. Just a warning to locals from Dartford Area, Last night around 11 some scumbags tried to take grandpa's wagon [:@], fortunately neighbours heard the gits smashing his lock to pieces and called police whist another neighbour scared them off, they were in a silver golf with a sunstrip, the golf was bout 3 yearsold. They didnt even try and touch Loonybin car but police reckon they after the old style as they easier to take. So keep eyes pealed people, especially us classic owners.
  21. Sounds like a good day, Shame we not attending, we will be going to the 02 arena to see Bon-Jovi, Hope you all have a cracking day and dont forget your umbrella's.
  22. We wont be able to make this one, having my new brakes fitted on the 18th ready for the journey down to japfest the next day, Hope you all have a good meet and the weather is kind to you all.
  23. Spotted Imprezyou today, in my rear view mirror, nice looking bonnet scoop.... it was the only part i could see in me mirror[] Good brakes by the way[]
  24. Spotted Dal this morning with his head in his boot and Mrs Dal walking across the road. Is the car o.k Dal cos when i came past this afternoon she was on axle stands?????[]
  25. Count me and my family in on this, we spent some time at the Evelina Childrens Hospital last year with my 11year old son who unfortunaltely lost a kidney, a lot of parents up there rely on the Ronald Mcdonald house, without that their already difficult time would of been much worse, it would be good to give something back [Y] Something the kids can join in with would be great, Disco sounds good Shirilee, not sure about dressing up as a schoolgirl thou.
