  1. Damn I'm off down to Teeside on Saturday
  2. Guys - A friendly bit of advise I know the SIDC have welcomed the vast number of resident SN Scotland users but it doesn't help airing dirty laundry or carrying on the sarcastic remarks within the Scottish Scoobies section. I understand the need to discuss certain issues relating to the past few months happenings but try not to bring our forum to an abusive slanging environment. Two wrongs don't make a right if you know what I mean.
  3. << A few scoobs on track tonight. Anyone from here?? Especially the WR1. Meant to come across for a blether, but had to spend as much time on track as I could to cure my addiction. One tank of fuel lasted me 30miles >> Holy cow - 30 miles from a tank - what happened John, did you split the tank It looked like the weather would have been good for KH, I spent all night cleaning our cars etc. See you around

  13. Great job Carl - Its looking good
  14. I gather u use an unfriendly dealer then Brian ? It all depends who you approach, how you approach them and if they've got any interest in the cars themselves. unless they see you as a statistic in their sales pitch.
  15. << Firstly please don't remove this as it is not a commercial post. Some of you might know me through the meetings in Dundee and from the Subaru Spectacular held at Knockhill over the past 2 years. I am now part of the sales team at Eden Subaru in Cupar. I would just like to say a big hello from the dealership to everyone out there and let the SIDC know that we will be supporting the club fully. I have arranged with our aftersales dept that all sidc members will receive 10% discount on all parts and accessories We will be holding track days and if I can arrange it we will try and have an owners meeting along the same lines as the Subaru Spectacular which I organised previously. Please feel free to come in for a coffee and a blether at anytime. All are welcome. Many thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to see some of you in the future. Regards Russ Stewart Eden Subaru >> Hi Russ - Thanks for your post and for the backing towards the club from your dealership. In no way would I see this as a commercial post so I'd say its safe here I'm sure SIDC members/Subaru owners in Scotland will appreciate a dealer with a good friendly interface. Lets hope it can become a two way interface in the future and the local members can use the dealers experience. The discount is a great gesture and one which is good to hear. It would be good if you can get an e-mail or letter sent to the club chairman, Phil Stephens or John Stewart so they can add you to the dealer discount database. Once this is done then they can organise the insertion into the club magazine & I can add you to the dealer discount list on the clubs website. Cheers
  16. IMHO - I'd think the Scottish flag should be a tad bigger. I don't like the full length web name either.
  17. Please be aware that a new area has been added to the SIDC website, solely for information within Scotland. Over the next 3 months we'll be able to expand our network of events and have this area full of pictures and info to promote the Scottish Subaru scene. A forthcoming Events section can also be added, just like the Kent Scoobies section perhaps. Dunno if this will contradict the forum in any way but I'd appreciate ur thoughts. You can e-mail me - derek@sidc.co.uk Scottish Scoobies area within the SIDC main website BTW - Ignore the flag, I only added that from work until someone can design a logo in which we can use.
  18. Welcome onboard Devlin
