Yep had the same trouble last night not just with shell garages either. Filled up this morning at Gravesend and they had a delivery at Northfleet this morning and a very reasonable 98.9 better than last week!!!!

Just a thought as I'm no electrician but could it be anything to do with the "BRIGHT" switch guess its on the same circuit? Have heard of switches killing supply completely if faulty. Then again wouldn't go poking about too much unless you know what you're doing, electricity is nasty stuff and could lead to further damage to car or yourself.

Fair point Tony, bit like when you get used to speed, car not seeming as fast after a year or two of driving it as when you first got it. Car seems to pull a little better too and big pop/bang on the way home, was surprised to see the little Matiz behind me still there when I looked someway back I hasten to add but still on the road.

Just checked Northfleet, putting it up as I pulled in!!! 99.9p Gravesend however at 95.9p but that was about falf an hour ago .....

Finally got round to having the exhaust replaced, didn't want anything too loud went for a H&S decat centre and classic b/box. Well happy on tickover but have set off several car alarms when driving past them. Is it likely to settle down with a bit of use? Pops and bangs too!

Always found the one at Northfleet between renault and ford garages to be pretty reasonable but haven't been past it this week so can't give exact price at the moment although given the last 24 hours could be anything now!!!!! Or is that just me.
