  1. I got mine done at the dealer as car was still under warranty, apparently they'd never seen a car with the problem, then when I went back a year later with the same problem the comment went along the lines of "we did one of these a year ago, don't get them very often..." Not a massive amount of help to you, sorry, but part of my problem may have been a bent prong in the connector, they are a bit fragile. Think it had been bent when I had the downpipe fitted and they plugged it back together as cel came on instantly, "that'll be the lambda sensor sir" followed by mass panic when it wasn't lol!!! It was recommended to me on here that you remove them but I chose not to, didn't look to be that much cheaper and then the possibility of other stuff to go with it i didn't bother. I can see why they're there but a bit of a PITA IMHO!

  2. B) All the damage on my car well all of my cars have been made by others  Ive got to use a touch up pen now test my painting skills B)

Sorry to hear that some inconsiderate ******s around! Might be worth trying a cocktail stick to apply it, avoids getting paint all over any existing paint.

  3. I stopped using them when I found that they were taking ciustomers cars home at night.

Does anyone remember what happened to my car after the Xmas meal at Ace of Spice 2/3 years back?

    - Well combine the two situations and guess what type of phone call I received!!!

Could I take a guess that you got an unexpected call with your car stranded somewhere other than their garage?

  4. Great stuff, thank you!!!! (The beam, not driving over bits of my car  ) I'll see what they say. I can see the end of a beam (a bit of box section steel, looks like it runs across the back of the bumper ending just short of the foglight covers?) it looks straight but you never know. Thank you.

  5. Fingers crossed! The foglight cover has cleaned up ok, and might I add that of all the vehicles that drove over it while it was lying in the road the only person to actually make a point of driving round it was the bus driver!!!! Might have a go at cleaning the rest up tomorrow, wont be perfect but might mean a few less people notice it when I go into work on Monday

  6. Thanks Ian, just incredibly annoying! No-one hurt which is the main thing. My passenger reckoned she was ok and the person who hit me had her two children in the car and she said they were ok.

Hoping it's just the bumper, the other car was driving from my right to the left and clipped the passenger side part of my bumper.

  7. Just had a little bump!

Tried to get hold of Keith Michaels but their claim line takes me to an O2 answering machine. I thought it was best to report immediately but don't fancy leaving all my details on what could be someones mobile! Anyone else on here been unfortunate enough to have contact them at the weekend?

  8. Big Jay (I think) in BFR and Probrad on A2, about to be sat in a nice big traffic jam I suspect? I was heading to Bluewater on the bridge over the A2 and thought I'd have a quick look at the poor sods about to get stuck in the jam when I saw a set of orange wheels :D

  9. Where abouts in the rev range did it peak at the 298? Any peak torque figure to go with it and again at what rpm? Just curious. Also is that a wheels or flywheel figure and how do you work it out? Thanks :P

  10. it dosent look like the prodrive one thou do you know how many types there are ? its like a jap style

I'd agree with the above. Not too loud but ok for me. I think the backboxes all look the same with a 4" tailpipe but you might find a 2.5 or 3" system available. I'm not sure if the 3" has superceeded the 2.5" or if you can still get both? But it suits me, good build quality and not too loud, quite important for me as I have no soundproofing ;)

You may have trouble fitting just a backbox to another system, over to T123VOR!
