I'll be heading down to see him. Its a map tweak with a good dollop more boost, so I can travel there a bit faster than the 65 mph and 3 hour journey the last time []

I'm booked in with him on the 3rd August, so If I'd known a couple of weeks ago I would have been keen.

Another thanks to Craig for a well organised day. Well apart from the detour to Dyce that some folk took on the way out. WTF was that about? [] Happy with my 300.4 bhp (every 0.1 bhp counts) and a visit to Andy F in 4 weeks should see me hit my ultimate goal of 320-330 to justify the ££££s spent on mods []

As WUZ is away right now, I'd see if Wallace Performance (Bridge of Don) can fit you in to check out the fueling via wide-band lamda. It would worry me that its got mods like an FMIC if the ECU is standard. It doesn't take long, so I'd hope they could fit you in at fairly short notice. They could do with some good press around here anyway []

If your car is standard, it'll probably be the safest one run on the day [] Mine has been on about 5 times now with no ill effects. A good operator will monitor how the car is running while on the rollers, mainly listening out for det. If things aren't sounding too good, they should be able to take it off before any serious damage is done.

I have a P plate 1.8 Mondeo for winter and carrying crap. Great fun driving a car you dont care about. You dont park it, you abandon it. Only get about 35 mpg at best though, which is not really that great.

At the end of the day Andy is just a Subaru Tuner (albeit one of the best). He makes his money from us, so will be happy to offer advice, especially if it means you'll become a customer somewhere down the line [] I thought I'd be nervous when he was mapping my car, but I was surprised just how relaxed I was. Like driving your mate to the pub.....albeit very quickly at times []
