I remember something similar between Prost & Senna a few years back [] Something all to often conveniently overlooked/forgotten..![] Senna had a penchant for rule breaking, but nobody questions his rightful place as an F1 legend..! But how original for brits to shoot down the uber successful sportsman. Remember Shuey has been at the top of motorsports pinnacle for 15 years and yes he's had more 'incidents' than anyone else, but he's also achieved far more than anyone else in the history of F1. He's ruthless and that's the only way to be a great winner in such a 'dog eat dog' sport. Tell me of another F1 'champion' who choose to go to, an at best, middle of the road team when he had the choice of any drive on the grid..? Also, you never hear about the '10's of millions' given to humanitarian causes or the fact that in c1995 he dived off his boat and saved a woman from drowning, in the Caribbean iirc..! But these wouldn't fit in with the image that the UK media wish to portray would they..? J[8o|]

The tightness of the new engine is my point. My 05 suddenly became a different car after 4k and just keeps getting better. The thing is, this free PPP offer is from new (as I believe) and as the comments here have outlined it's not a good approach. As for the low milage/new domo cars, I have, more than most, a decent mechanical sympathy, however if you're trying a performance car out on demo what are you supposed to do..? See how good the mpg is..! As far as I aware, demo cars have a very early oil change (after 30 odd hard miles from new) to take this into account. This obviously dosen't effect the tightness of a new engine. Regards, Jason PS would any of you seriously consider an ex demonstrator..? Not me when it's considered a performance car..!

I've fancied some white (super legg style) wheels on our WRB wrx. Certainly different. I once saw a lotus elise (the hard top one) in a flat sky blue colour with white straight spokes and white GT stripes, looked TDB..! Jason

Had a run today against a new 05 WRX PPP. I was in my EU 05 wrx (std apart from centre decat and BB). There was absolutely nothing in it at any speed. They were identical. Before anyone asks, my brother was in the PPP, had it on demo for the day and we found some nice quiet (private) DC to do a proper evaluation..! Obviously my car with 6000 miles on is a lot looser than the demo car with a few hundred on it (albeit more than likely hard miles) however, if you buy a new car with PPP you'll never aprechiate it properly. I for one was very dissapointed with the PPP package but very pleased with mine. Maybe it was a 'Friday afternoon' car..? Jason PS The seats in the UK cars are pants compared to the EU ones..!

Don't you find though that when the wife's in the car there seem to be more people wanting to try it on..? It frustrates the hell out of me because if I'm out on my own (say at a quiet time of day, just for a little fun-run, you know what I mean...) nothing happens..! The seat bolsters on my car have permanent nail indentations..! The funny thing is I don't even rise to it with passengers in the car..! PS BTW when I say try it on I mean racing..!

I'm looking for a boost gauge (52mm) for my 05 wrx (ie white on black with green illumination)? I like the defi ones but you have to have a link controler and I just want a simple gauge..! Anyone know of a suitable gauge..? Jason
