Where is the best and cheapest supplier for a full ss magnex exhaust i have the back box already so only need the down pipe and the centre sections and i will be fitting it myself. as my new problem with my car is the original exhaust has a hole in it somewhere. So i thought now is the time to get a ss system.

i work in airdre and surrounding area, silver classic, and there are bloody loads of scoobys drive by my office window when im in there, i now where at least to classics and 2 rb5's park up in the plains area.

Back on the road at last, swapped the MAF 2nite and car is running sweet as a nut, not b4 time that was almost 4 months the car was sitting square wheeled in the drive, cheers fellas for all the good comments, ideas and hands on help from some of the guys to get me back meanicing the chav's.

where is the cheapest to get a new MAF?

at the moment my car runs and idles better with the maf unplugged, as soon as its plugged in it pops with miss fire or cuts out. i think i need a new MAF, what do u mean the fillter caused it, was it the fibers from the filter contaminating the sensor?

What happen to the MAF sensor if i fit an induction kit is it bypassed and not used or is it just unplugged and left off. the reason im asking is i think i now have a faulty maf to add to all the other faults to the list and instead of buying a new maf sensor can i fit an induction kit instead. ?

cheers wuz i took ur coments on board and done a bit of tinkering about today on the brief, and i found thats it is diffenetly an air suction fault, i took of the top mounted intercooler and started the car with a direct air flow into the carb and the turbo and it ran like a dream a wee bit fast but i put that down to a rich air mix but no missfire or poping into the exhaust which is the main thing, then i stuck it back on and it started popping straight away, so i have ordered 2 inlet manifold gaskets and i hope that will do the trick.

hey aarongr what car are you running i was thinking of getting a sti8 scoop for my classic, but i dont knowif it would look silly, but the sccop is great on the proper car.

im not using a obd2 code reader just the onboard diagnostics thru the flashing CEL by connecting the black plugs so cant match the 85 with any obd2 codes
