  1. i'll pop in to ian grieves tommorrow doug, it looks as if it's a 40mm diameter bore and is sort of 's' shaped and if it's gonna be a problem i'll try dickson's. cheers doug.

Just brought MY98 JDM STI WAGON up from oxford today but on-route it blew the large top radiator hose after some sterling work by a AAmechanic we managed to patch it enough to get it home(how pissed off am i staring at the temp gauge for 350miles) Question : are you likely to carry one of these in stock at falkirk or is it more than likely going to have to be ordered in? i work next door in alexanders and i'll pop in at lunchtime tomorrow. cheers for any info.

  5. I've now decided to up-grade from my 2.0sportwagon to a JDM STI WRX MY98WAGON.(Red top engine) It's been in this country for 3 years with the same owner(SANDY McNAIR anybody know him?) It's never been remapped for UK fuel, allways run on Optimax and is still restricted (112mph i think) The only mod it's had is that it's got a stainless exhaust with one of the CATS removed. Fom a technical point of view is there any thing to worry about, in that it's not been remapped for uk fuel? Any recommendations and what benefit they would do? I'm not looking to gain any more power but just want to make sure that the engine is not being damaged. I've paid my deposit and pick the car up in 2 weeks so there's no going back so try and go easy on any scare stories. cheers in advance Craig
  6. Once again, CONGRATULATIONS SHARON. All the best in the new job[]
  7. I've just done some overtime at work this morning, now i'm off to Ibrox and more than likely get pissed later on. Pretty sure that's exactly what happened last weekend.............groundhog saturday. Craig.
  8. Here's our two cats, Hank (black one) and Fergal ( the gay greedy white one). cheers Craig.
  9. Hello Sharon, I'm also running a sport(wagon) at the moment, bought a Blitz Nur Spec R backbox and middle section (3"Diameter) which was reduced at the end to fit onto my cat. Keeps the car road legal while producing the ' burble ' subaru flat four sound. Doesn't improve performance whatsoever. There's plenty stainless backbox's on sale either in the For Sale part of the forum or you could try e-bay then take it to somewhere local to have it 'doctored' and reduced to fit your system.Hope this helps. Cheers Craig.
  10. Cheers for the info Paul, but as the door-cards won't fit my classic and i'd only be able to use the front seats , i'll pass on this. thanks for the replies Craig.
  11. Hello Paul, Could you send some photos to my e-mail address ? and i'd only be interested in the front seats, are you willing to break up the set? Turn on your private message function. or e-mail c.keaney@blueyonder.co.uk
  12. Thought i'd try here first, I'm looking for some Turbo bucket seats for my97wagon, would be interested in getting whole interior or just front seats. If anybody's got something taking up too much space in their garage could they send photos and price to c.keaney@blueyonder.co.uk Thanks in advance for any replies. Craig.

  19. Cheers, i'm getting on a bit ( nearer 50 than 102 ) and have had my share of fillings ( dental )so lowering it will stiffen the roll that i'm getting going into corners but won't increase my dentist bill!
  20. As above, looking to lower my recently aquired 2.l non-turbo wagon. I'm in the central belt region cheers Craig.
  21. Might be a bit late with this post, but anybody coming down from the Stirling area/ kincardine bridge route through to the MMR at coatbridge might like to know that the M73 after condorrat is totally CLOSED SOUTHBOUND. You can hang a left in Muirhead which would bring you along the motorway and end up at the Showcase but i'd advise giving it a bit more time for hold-ups. Sorry if this is too late.
