The nearest thing as far as I was concerned (a few years ago now) was L555 BRT. I've had it on retention for yonks, never got round to putting it in the car!

That's the new eBay policy, bidder ID's are not shown to anyone other than the seller!!! Hopefully it'll stop all the scamming nonsense that goes on. -
The Scottish Scoobies Commuting thread >>

Do you commute via a car - yes Do you take your Scooby - yes How many miles do you commute to work - 25 Miles How long does it take you - anything from 30 to 60 minutes door to dor, in which case Q2 answer is nearer 30 miles... -
Great picture of the dark haired girl on the grid. Did someone say there were some car and aircraft pics there too? Can't say I noticed them, and I've been back for another look. Great picture of that girl.

Well known, but incredibly clever pop video - A nice day out on the beach... Yngwie Malmsteen, for all you guitar players - if you've seen him before, this is hysterical! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_tuLEmWccM And here he is again - when you're as cocky as Yngwie, you're just asking for this kind of p***taking... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YldVew8bDBM Remember steel lungs Graham Bonnet, who sang Since You've Been Gone etc with Rainbow? here he is in 1968! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JV9KPnHCXk4 And in case Ritchie Blackmore is watching, you're not getting away either. Dig that swing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z_0DHD18xs Somewhat pointless, but amazing nonetheless... Sweet shop fun - wonder if you can take these on a plane? And this is a long but worthwhile clip - you need to hear the commentary... And see the colossal explosion! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sNE9k8mZ1w

Damn, you beat me to it. I was gonna say I hadn't had a go but was seeing Rik Mayall and Ozzy Osbourne for a wee shot next weekend... -
A bit of a drastic move, unless you're planning on crashing it or taking it on the track a lot. Your insurers will likely throw their hands up in horror, too. Drive carefully, watch out for others' poor driving and your car will be as safe as any other without doing something like this.

Wow, that is cool. And the voiceover guy sounds a bit like Oliver Postgate, who did Ivor the Engine and The Clangers!!!

No me, because I never went to a lap dancing joint in my life, and likely never will. But one of my mates went there with about 2 or 3 other guys, and the dancer took all of their vouchers and said she'd dance for them all together through the back room. She stuck a song on and started, and when she bent over to flash her backside at the lads, my mate Dave blew a huge farty raspberry sound for a laugh. She stopped the music and chucked them all out, but not before turning round and demanding to know who did it, like some angry schoolteacher!!! And they acted equally like schoolkids caught in the class, all sheepish.

Er, no we don't! 67 in a 30 is ridiculous.

Slightly O/T - If you have a 2nd car, what is it?
tom_paxton replied to oobster's topic in Scottish Scoobies
A 1.2 Corsa. I haven't had a "wee" car for years, and it feels a lot quicker than the 1.0 Polos and stuff I used to have. -
Knock us up a Beef in Black Bean Sauce while you're at it, then!!! I took my daughter out on our bikes, intending to do about 8-10 miles. Broke the chain on mine after half an hour, took another 45 mins to walk back... I cleaned out the brush head of the hoover, two daughters with long hair and two cats makes it a disgusting job, then laid underfloor heating in my shower room. At least the last bit was a wee bit out of the ordinary. Tiling next, and I can just tell it's gonna be an ordeal...

They tried that on me, but I was ready for them, and told them they had 20 minutes to finish off my windscreen and ferk off...

<< Given how slow you drive these days 575, the extra torque and power wouldn't have benefited you much anyway - LOL. >> Yeah, very funny McFlash. Now off you go and give your car a drink of oil, before it dries out on you!

I was eager to check the MY06, as I decided not to wait for one (company car, when it's time to change, I'm always desparate to get something new). Kind of regretting it as I like the look of the 06, and also the idea of a little more power and torque. However fuel economy is down and emissions up, so if I had waited it would be costing me another £60 a month in fuel and tax! Not so bad that I jumped the gun after all.
