Pete, I agree with what you say and i for one wont be doing it again.There was a nice collection of scoobs and two VERY NICE blondes handing out flyers. I think that over the winter months the regional organisers should get together and sort out a Scottish get together.It was a good drive down and back,the reaction of people on holiday when the car park at Scotch Corner was full of scoobies was something to be seen.Can i suggest that all the regional organisers get together for a meet sometime? Billy. I also thought it was a damn cheek that the R.S owners club were charging four quid when they could look at our cars for free.

Good run down and back.That was the highlight of the day.Thanks to Karps,Keap Scooby and Ricey for going with us.Pretty poor turnout,not as many cars as the last two years and it was very cold and overcast. Im going to have a word with other Scottish regional organisers with respect to a Scottish Big One.Im sure we could do better.Was speaking to Craig Mudd and looking at his fantastic car,must spend every waking hour polishing it. After fitting a new timing belt if you line up the marks on the pulleys and belts as per manual thats the only time they will line up again after you turn the engine by hand.If you have rotated the engine a few times by hand and it doesnt lock up then take it as ok.I did mine a couple of months ago and its fine.I've worked on many makes of car over the years and the white. marks on the belts never line up with the timing marks again.

Ok people here we go im ready to step into the lions den and get things rolling. As this is a pretty busy month with a few events happening up and down the country i was thinking of round about the first week in July.The last meet was held at Stepps and was quite good for people coming from different directions. This would suit me ok but if you would rather have it in another area of Glasgow then please let me know.I have some proposals to put to the members which i hope will be accepted and introduce myself to you all in person.Im off to get the car ready for the N.B.O this Sunday.I've been working hard on it and its appearance has totally changed since the last meet.Lets hope the sun shines and you have good weather whatever event you are attending.Have a nice weekend and drive safely.See you all soon.

I would like to thank the commitee for allowing me to take up the Glasgow R.O position.I would like to thank Dougster for recommending me to the committee for the postition,i wish him luck for the future. Its going to be a hectic month what with the N.B.O and other events taking place.A venue will be anounced by myself for a meeting at the end of the month where i will put my proposals to the members and start afresh and take the Scottish Scoobies forward to a brighter and long future.This type of thing is all new to me and i hope to get the support of members and new members,i'll probably make mistakes but hopefully learn from them. Grant great day out mate.My gold alloys are now black and i didnt get a producer at Brairgowrie cause i had my licence with me so there.The complaint was about a black Scooby overtaking on blind bends,somebody phoned in.
