18" Prodrive PFF7s - potentially for sale/swap?

First of all - big apologies to all those who have PM'd me about my rims - like a complete fudd I was expecting an email notification or pop-up rather than using my eyes to look for new PM's! Hopefully everyone than has PM'd me / was interested now has a PM back - if not, drop me another one and I'll definitely know where to look this time! Cheers Chris -
Car looks v nice mate - and I'd say that was an excellent price!

Thinking about selling my Prodrive alloys and wondered if there would be any interest from you chaps? They're the genuine 18" Prodrive 'FlowFormed' PFF7's in Gold - totally unmarked apart from one tiny (1.5cm) scrape on the edge of one where I just clipped the kerb coming out of the Marches car park! Couldn't even blame the wife for it! It's a minor blemish, but I've filed it smooth anyway and laquered over to stop any dirt/corrosion getting in. Tyres have plenty of tread left and are in good nick. As I don't have my standard rims, I'd be looking for ideally STI 7/8 rims in the silver/grey colour (might consider gold), plus cash my way. Other alloys might be considered, but they'd need to be 17's and suitable for a blobeye! FYI, the Prodrive alloys alone are £250 each from Subaru dealers (which I've been told is the only place you can get them from!) - before SIDC discount of course Drop me a PM or post here with details if you're potentially interested! Please note - it's not a definite I'm selling them, just wanted to know if there would be any interest before I decide one way or another. Cheers Chris

Plate ending in CUU? Was behind you for a bit before you turned off.

I do tend to wave, even passed a blue STI 7/8 on the M9 last week and stuck the hazards on and got a flash in return

I might be able to make it, but as it's only 50:50 at this stage I won't add my name to the list. Fingers crossed though

Good to meet you too Brian and enjoyed the banter last night Chris

I'm assuming this is tomorrow night chaps? I might pop along for a bit of banter if so - good to catch up with a few auld faces and meet some new ones too! Chris

Saw loads of cops on the way home last night - probably the same bunch of 10 odd motorbike riders that St3ph3n saw, and another convoy of 6 vans a little bit after that, not to mention assorted traffic motors. I'm working from home Wednesday - Friday this week to avoid it all.

Think it'll be the crappy ones from now on for me too. And a set of running spikes at the front door. Either that or a big dug

Wife spies little sh1ts next to car - one of them next to the wheels. She tells 'em to clear off and comes back in and tells me - I head out and check the car - lo and behold one metal dustcap missing. Run down to bottom of the street and spy them - and run after them in my baffies! Caught one wee bawb@g who claims "It wisnae me Mister!" - aye right. Anyway, he cycles off but I manage to collar the wee one of the group and get both their names. Head back to house and get in the car, catching them coming back into the estate this time. I get out of the car, tell them I know their names now and they've got one chance or it's the cops. Guy I caught the first time comes over shaking like a leaf pulls out a baccy tin and opens it to reveal a massive selection of dustcaps for me to choose from! Reclaim my dustcap and warn him if I see any of them near the car again it'll not be quite as easy. Little f(ukers, but at least I know who did it, have got their names and my dustcap back! Hopefully they got enough of a fright that they'll not be trying that again, but I've taken all the metal ones off anyway. Was considering the cops to put the sh1ters up 'em but I think I'll leave it for the mo...
