Hi Colin, I'm no engine guru lol, I got mine remmapped by http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/index2.html. It's worth a read and should answer some of your questions mate. I went for the Ecutek ..and i'm lead to believe the OE ecu on the later models '99-'00 responds well to this. Hi matey, Bumped into Johnny50 today.He wondered how you were getting on I've got a 99 uk classic(face lift) -decatted and remapped..so should be around the 280 bhp mark ( standard 215bhp) Frank

Is it possible to shield the immobiliser in any way to prevent this ? It's starting to get annoying.

Tell me about it ! I got stranded in the local Shell Staion at 1.30 in the morning and had to push my car round the corner (myself) to get it to start.. Not an easy task when it's slightly up hill )
