ive driven up past inverness up the way of wick thurso etc before , they were nice roads dunno if theres motorways up that area yet or not nowadays lovely flat winding roads perfect for scoobs!! But thats a bit of a long drive for the boys down south lol!! maybe keep it till we see if the 2 day run goes ahead start down south peebles borders kind of area then work up the west side up round the north then head south

<< Craig Mac is absolutely correct about the Wester Ross Coastal Trail round Gairloch and Aultbea. As a suggestion for a 2 day trip next year, how about heading up Loch Lomond, on to Inverary, then Oban, then the Fort William Road to Inverness or the Skye area. The second day could take in heading North West via Gairloch, up to Ullapool, then North and across to the Dornoch area and finally possibly down the road via the Elgin area. It would be a fair jaunt, but quite possibly some of the best Scooby roads in the world. >> That would be a nice run only problem we would have would be a lack of optimax i suppose. plenty of camp sites plenty nice roads and plenty midges!!

the ones way down south would be a bit of a drive for us up north lot ,we would be looking at 5 hours to get to the borders i reckon just guessing though??

2 day drive would be the dogs bollocks..start way down south some place borders perhaps?? and work our way up the west coast theres loads of camping spots to pitch the tents up that way maybe up to john o groats then head south again .like JC says get the barbis oot , a few coldies (beers) and a night under the stars!

maybe a deal can be worked out here JC gives ruby his bonnet and Sharon buys JC a carbon fiber one

As many runs as possible is ok with me (as long as im @ home) im pretty flexable as to where abouts as well anywhere is ok as long as its not too far away
