yes there was a "spirited" drive............and all seems to be well................I will take her out for a journey to and from work ( Swindon - Bristol ) at some point in the week

Firstly - another huge thank you to what I consider a Subaru Guru.............Iain your da man As its transpired the problem was nowhere as serious as it could have been............ The_1..................Thanks for your input on this however you was a country mile out - I am so glad that Iain's original diagnosis was wrong and that 1 or 2 others I spoke to actually said Thermostat / Airlock theory ( who knew my car but actually hadnt seen it ) was right. So if its alright with you I will go along with Iain's diagnosis in future. Cheers Ed

Forgot to say that Rednick lives in Cornwall so it was quite an expensive but brilliant weekend but a local cheap and cheerful one sounds good.

in 2005 Rednick held a weekend special on the August Bank Holiday and a load of us camped in his Back Garden so we went for drives during the day and ate , drank and was very merry in the evening..........took a week to get over

I expect there would be if someone was mad enuff to host it and put up a lot of drunk subaru drivers etc went to one a couple of years ago held on a Sunday in a park which was a good laugh
