ive just renewed my insurance online with liverpool victoria,i used to be with keith micheals insurance,my quote off keith micheals was £770,fully comp for me n the wife,protected no claims ,alarm immobiliser from factory,LnV came up with £423,fully comp ,when ive fone them and asked weather its a guaranteed price they say it is,but when ive payed first instalment and got the policy through they are now saying my car will not be covered unless it has a tracker fitted,so does it mean if i have a bump or some one hits me ,im not covered ,or is it only if the car is stolen or attempted theft ,its not covered,???any help would be greatfull before i start screamin down the fone,any advice on tracker units and instalers & cost would be helpful,cheers ,its a 53 plate blobeye no mods ,YET,

do the radiator yaself mate.i did mine last month on mi blobeye,couple of pipes n clips, i paid 87quid for radiator from G/L MOTORSPARES in bolton,and a tenner for anti freeze,,,,,,,,my rad had cracked at top plastic cover too,ive not had cylinder head gasket checked,but all temperatures are fine n no water showing in engine oil,,,,,,,,,couple of scratched knuckles but only hours work,good luck n nice motor,,,

got oil leak sortid,garage took rocker cover off cleaned it n resealed it,55quid,happy bunny if it turns out to have cured it,ill power wash it to get rid of surplus oil on heat sheild once all this snows gone,,,,,,,cheers for all ya help,n have a gud chrimbo,,,,,,

its going in wednesday,ill write it down, so the wife can give the bloke at the garage the letter with it all writen down,n get a price off him,after i wiped the oil off the exhaust heat sheild, after a few days drivein its back again,ill let ya know the price he comes up with,cheers,

im getting a stronge smell of something burning from under bonnet on mi 2001 bugeye,107thou on clock now,ive took the under tray off yesturday and part of cambelt cover nr the airfiter box,when i shone mi search light down nr the front of the exhaust heat sheild there was something sizzlig on the heat sheild just below the front plug,but i carnt get to it,ive tryed useing autoglym engine cleaner then powerwashed it,it cleared most of it off,but after a 20min drive we could smell it again,ive just changed the radiator on the scooby ,and ive kept my eye on the water level,dont seam to be loseing any water,it looked like black tar bubbling on the heat sheild, any help or advice would be grateful ,before i take it to a garage,cheers,

can anyone tell me if a 2003 sti turbo intake hose will fit a 2001 bugeye wrx,,,,please, also my clutch has started to smell a bit when i boot it,can anyone on here advise me were is a decent and honest place to buy from nr bolton,(manchester) ,wheel bearings are on a whine aswell,oh and my wrx has just hit 106thou miles so ive not done bad after 5 years of trouble free motoring,love um to bits,,,,,,thanks ,,,,,,,,,, :kerstsmiley: :kerstsmiley:

its 1.16 at morrisons in bolton,,,anyone know if a justy engine will fit in my wrx bugeye,lol,

does any one know were i can buy a new tensioner for the air con unit for 2001 bugeye,ive just hit 100,000 mileage , started my scooby this morning heard a grinding noise under the bonnet,lifted the bonnet and saw that the air con tensioner had completely collapsed,gutted,all replies welcome ,cheers.

has any one on here tried the magnetic fuel saver device that attaches to your fuel lines, they are on flea bay for £5, i just wondered if its worth buying,cheers

my 2001 wrx alternator is makeing a dry bearing sound, sound like its coming from the rear of alternator,is it cheaper to get it reconed or just buy another and fit it myself,also is the turbo air hose that goes under the intake manifold only available from subaru dealers??? ive seen plenty of samco turbo hoses for sale on flea bay ,but no standard ones....cheers,

just took the delivery of some dodo juice lime prime and dodo juice purple haze hard wax,aswel as some monza car snow foam car wash,after readings the reviews and how good its suppost to be i thought id try it ,i read the reviews in jap performance mag,all i need now is for the snow to disapear then ill let ya all know how it looks on my dark blue metallic bugeye,any one on here already use the dodo range???? monza car care sent me 3 polishing micro fibre with the polish and a few applicators, well impressed,

help wtd please, i own a 2001 blob eye wrx, 89 thou on the clock,ive just had the cam belt changed at ais imports in bolton,with all the tensioners pullys n guid wheels done too,the clutch pedal seams to have a slight grinding feel to it when you rest your foot on it from cold, but this disapears when the cars been run and warmed up,it feels like the thrust bearing is worn, but this is just a guess,any ideas on the problem would be graetfull,before i part with my hard earned,i also get a smell of wearing clutch plate as i floor the car in low gears or floor it at the lights,(like ya do),if i do need a complete clutch , what price am i lookong at, and is it worth upgrading to an organic, thanks,

ive put a green cotton air filter into my 2001 wrx, is it worth doin the full exhaust system or just the the back box,dump valve aswel, ive also just put my boot cover out of my previous wagon on ebay ,cos ive bought a saloon now,so if any of you scooby wagon fans are interested 99p startin bid,im in a pickle wevva to sell my kawasaki zxr750 project bike so i can spend what i get for the kwak on the scooby,my scooby already has the headlight conversion,i think it will look good lowered n some better wheels than the 17 chrome standards that r on it now,ADVICE N OPINIONS PLEASE, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO U ALL

check all your windows are closed n ya boot is shut, what i kept doing was lifting the boot catch at the petrol station by mistake n not noticeing till the alarm went off later at night to warn me that the boot was unlocked,or try turning the interior light to the permanantly off mark,or it might be the batteries in the key fob that are low n need changeing,hope this helps mate,or run round the block too make sure no ones got a scanner going on ya car, SLEEP WELL,
