  1. You're car sounds good, nice rumble but not overkill.

    Nothing wrong with overkill

I passed Greig this morning near baldovie toll, i was in the work van though, big rusty merc sprinter with Lyndon written on it.

  2. I've also heard a few horror stories with various Range Rover models, again people getting so fed up they've handed them back. The V8 diesel engine is made by Peugot apparently, think it's the only reliable thing in them!

For me it would need to be a Land Cruiser, either Colarado or Amazon. They would be really be the only competitor to the range rover and from what i've been told are far more capable off road too.

  3. Can anybody recommend me a free software download that will convert mp3 files to an m4a file. I'm trying to put music on an SD card for my son to use in his DSi.

The "free" one i've tried so far puts a womans voice over the songs saying the software name, unless you register and pay for it, not really free then! It's AVS audio convertor.

I believe itunes do it but i don't have an iphone/pod so don't want that ,my missus uses napster but i can't find anything on that either.

    Help please

  4. Nice comment Kev.......just cause it needs a bit of bodywork doesn't mean bin it!!

i'm not saying bin it but the sills are a structural part of the car aren't they? surely there's no point in throwing loads of money at any car that is going to be never ending. How does the rest of the underside look?

I'm not slagging your car, just providing my tuppence worth on what i'd do.

  5. At the end of the day your car is an RB5!!! many people would luv one of them.

But at the end of the day it's a rotten one. Once you replace the sills, it'll just be something else and you'll end up chasing the rust around the car. No point in throwing money into a car you're not going to get back. New sills won't exactly add to the grin factor of driving the car.

My car's a year older than yours and i've been fortunate enough to never have to spend any money on it other than the mods i've done but now the rear arches have started to blister i'm guessing this'll be the start of it. As soon as i have to spend money on welding, it'll get stripped and skipped because it's not worth a lot at the moment never mind when it's rotting away.
