  1. well we headed through to xtreme this afternoon and the boys had a ball. Well worth it for that age group, think i'd get a bit frustrated on there though, the marshalls were a bit quick to put out the warning flags to the adults, my son got one for bumping into the rear of his mate just the once.

    Deffinately worth the visit though.

  2. Bit of advice please.

I'm taking my son and 2 of his mates karting but there is nothing near me (Dundee). I've found extreme in Falkirk or Kartstart in Aberdeen and Kirkaldy. Not sure about Knockhill as it's only outdoor and it's getting crappy weather now.

Anybody had there kids at any of these places and could give me a recommendation? i'm leaning towards Extreme but am open to all suggestions.

    Thanks

    Kev

  3. Think i looked at that one yesterday Matty, very nice

Richie, just assumed i'd need full hd, will prob get sky hd in the future and already have a ps3, so wanted to watch blu ray discs.

My viewing distance is about 10ft, is that an issue? surely you can't be to far away from a tv.

    cheers guys

  4. My current tv is on its way out, Sony wega(the ones that were the size of a tattie box!)

I know little about the newer range of tvs, so was looking for a little advice on which to go for. I was sure i'd heard somewhere to stay away from plasma as they're not so reliable but that was a while back and after seeing a demo of the two types side by side, i prefered the plasma picture.

Any brands to stay away from? I was gonna go for another sony, but it seems i'd get more for my money with panasonic or samsung. Not keen on going for an LG, i've got a little one in the bedroom and it's crap.

My criteria are, 40 or 42" with full hd, don't really know what else to look for?? price range up to £850ish (don't tell the wife)

    Recommendations please.

    Kev

  5. , Subaru have done a top job on that engine!

I'm sure i'd read somewhere they were no where near as refined as the other diesels on the market or have as good mpg. Never driven one but if they were half decent i'd seriously consider one for the wife when they get more affordable. She want a 4wd estate next and there aren't that many to chose from.

  6. It's a company van not mine, I don't care what happens to it so next time it'll be parked in your boot.

Think a lot of people forget that when cutting up white van man, we usually have a lot less to lose. I gave a bloke a nice big groove in his front bumper with the side rack in my last van after he tried to pull into my lane on a roundabout.

  7. Never had my car mapped, it's alway been the agricultural way. Fuel cut defender and screw up the boost. Never had a bit of bother. It has standard and high boost of the controller though.
