  1. I've used Ewan @ Coatech to do a repair on a wheel i kerbed back in the summer. I was impressed by the work he done - highly recommend using him.
  2. I think those would look the dug's baws on your motor Gus - and stick with the Gold. You must have a very understanding wife!
  3. Yup, that is a smart motor you got there.
  4. My choice then would be the 2006 replica rear roof spoiler.
  5. Can 2nd that - i've also had work done by Derek and can't fault the job he done in any way.
  6. I also use Stevie Walkers in Bathgate - he colour-coded the front grille, scott-lowe splitter and roof-spoiler on my car. He also re-done the sti front bumper corner-pieces on my car. Not entirely sure I would use him again though, his work used to be top-notch and while it's still resonably good it's not the same standard as he used to be (IMHO). Maybe i'm just being pernickety though, which is entirely possible.
  7. How about a red one with white wheels? Or is that ripping the pee-pee a wee bit? P.S. Nice work Neil - how did you get on with that competition you entered?
  8. Welcome to the forum Rich - I hope you can resist the temptation to mod for as long as poss []
  9. Congratulations to you both []
  10. Just back from Dublin Sharon, excellent news - well done [] Seen a new-age (blob-eye) car when we were over there, had an STI-style spoiler on it and the whole car was totally pink! Wasn't quick enough to get a pic before it went round a corner.
  11. Happy Birthday to you Graham and gie us a bit of yer cake it looks yum![^] Will persuade Andy to take me oot fer a nice wee Indian later mmmm [] Cheers Dawn x
  12. So i'm not getting a wee shot of your motor then Andy, is that what yoru saying? [:'(]
  13. Craig I used Autoglym products and although I found they were easy to apply and remove, I wasn't impressed by how long they lasted. Water beading on panels would disappear within 2 weeks of polishing the car. Seems a lot of folks on here & SNet use either Meguiars products, or Swissol. I use Meguiars NXT polish (purple bottle, green lid) which doesn't break the bank and is just as easy as the Autoglym to apply/remove. I use the wee yellow Meguiars sponges for applying. The Meguiars seems to last quite well, especially when you use the bright-pink Meguiars carwash foam when cleaning the car too. Doesn't strip as much of the polish off as the old Fairly Liquid used to! I tend to polish my car about once a month in the late-spring/summer/early-autumn weather, which is maybe just a WEE bit too often.
  14. Ouch. At least the person is going to pay for the damage. Agree with Dougster - not liking the way that has cracked. Wonder where/how these Inovit wheels are made. Especially since I have a set sitting @ home waiting to go on my car once the weather improves!
  15. No problems posting, but can't edit any posts i've done. I've PM'd Willie to let him know. Hopefully all the wee niggles will be resolved over the coming weeks.
  16. When do you find out if you've got the job Sharon?
  17. Might have been Noel (karps) ?
  18. Forum won't allow me to edit posts [:@] Tried to have white text with a red background & the background colours dont work. When i tried to edit i constantly got a message saying "We can't serve your request at this time" or something. What i was trying to say was: I thought the post counters were not working
  19. I thought the post counters had stopped working []
  20. You haven't flicked the switch on top of the steering column have you?
  21. Just been oot getting the car all nice & clean - ready for it to be mockit within 1 mile of the house! See you all tonight around 7.00-7.30pm @ Benny T's, Falkirk.
  22. Some more of mine, since the pics on Page 1 aren't there anymore (dunno why)
  23. It's called a Carcoon - see here http://www.carstoragescotland.co.uk/storage.htm I use these guys when i go off on hols - maybe worth giving the guy that owns it a call & ask him the do's & dont's when storing a car - The Guy's name is Mark Spiers and he's a very helpful chap
  24. I seem to remember that Cal is the resident expert on camera mounts - i'm sure he'll offer his opinion quite soon!
