Sorry to hear about this...... i can sympathise, as i'd want to rip out the internals of anyone touching my car!
-
Fair enough..... drop me a mail with a contact number, and i'll give you a call.
Got a big exam on Friday so studying hard all this week - so it may be Saturday lunchtime before I give you a bell.
If you let me know if they sell between now & then?
Also, are the bolts included?

Got em.
They all look in good condition - any kerb marks, scratches etc that i didnt see?
Also, will they fit a new-age WRX (03-plate?)
Next questions:
1) How much tread is there left on the tyres?
2) Why are you selling them? Also, why are they so cheap! I priced a set of 19"s + Hankook K104's on www.performancealloys.com and they came in at over £1800!!!
3) If i was interested, could I come over at the weekend and try a couple on my car?

Coco,
Not 100% sure i'd like 19's, but can you send me a couple of pics (if they're not already sold?)

Thanks for the info folks - double cup holder could be an option. Dealer away finding out just now.

Dealer is telling me it should be a blanking plate, but it's going to take over a week to get me one!
Anyone know where i can get one sooner?
-
If your sitting in the back seat looking forward, the hole is at the very end of the centre console, at the back of the front seats.
-
Picked up my 03-plate WRX last week, and just noticed there is a big square hole on the back on the centre console!
It looks like there should be a blanking-plate there, or perhaps an ashtray.
Anyone got any ideas?
-
Absolutely positive - all that sticking out the plastic is two gold prongs - plastic looks totally sealed - i can see no joins, gaps etc. The cables are terminated into a connector, and it's this connector that slips into a groove on the lense assembly.
if you got msn messenger - add me if you think you can of further assistance. andy_oob@hotmail.com
cheers

Bought a pair of silver side repeater bulbs for my 03-plate WRX from scoobyworld.
Managed to get the indicator out the wing (easy enough) but i then discovered that the thing is sealed!
Checked the drivers manual, it says i've got to take the car to a subaru dealer to get the thing changed - surely that can't be right?
There must be a way of getting into the unit, surely?
Any advice given would be grealty appreciated.

Collected by 1st Subaru from S&S in Ayr yesterday, and boy is it quick!
Got them to fit the obligatory mats & flaps, plus the STI front mesh grilles. I'm painting the grille badge red as we speak & it's off to the window tints place tomorrow morning.
Pic attached.
Now just to decide on the wheels!

MRD in bathgate are good - i've been using them for a couple of years now. Alan is the guy to speak to.

If calling tell them Andy OOB recommended - they might give me a wee tenner off next time i'm in!!!

Finally got budget sign-off from the Mrs (well, i did ply her with wine first!!!), looking for a set of 18" wheels for my 03-plate red WRX.
Choices are:
1. OZ Superleggera's
2. Kei RAcing - Force 8's (current favourite)
3. PFF7 Replica's
4. Mille Miglia T12's
Think i'd prefer Gold wheels, but not entirely positive.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Has anyone used Revolution for wheels/tyres?
If so, was the service/delivery etc ok?

Help out a newbie here folks..... hopefully picking up my 03-plate red WRX from S&S (Ayr) on Thursday 3rd March so could make it (depends if the soon-2-b-wife lets me out).
First time scooby owner so any advice on time of meet etc would be appreciated.

Must be unmarked & include decent tyres.
-
-
It's got 15.9K miles on it.
Insurance isn't too bad, but i'm 33. Only planning on keeping it for a year/18 months, as getting married in May this year then planning to have weans.

New to the forum and possibly new to Subaru ownership (still wet behind the ears).
Seen an '03 plate WRX for £15,750 from main dealer.... just about to sign on the dotted line.
Any advice about cost of ownership etc would be appreciated, as would contact from anyone selling a set of 4 unmarked 17" gold STI wheels, with good tyres.
Many thanks
Andy
Speed camera detectors - should i get one???
in Scottish Scoobies
Posted
As a few of you know, i have only had my soobaroo for a week, and i've already got 3 points on my licence (from 6 months ago)
Should i consider purchasing a speed camera detector? I have seen the stories over the last couple of days about them being banned, possibly coming into force next year, but surely a purchase is still a good idea?
If anyone thinks i should purchase a detector, can you give me tips on where to look on the net and your experiences with ones you may own/use.
Ta
Andy
