Yep, that was my fuel gauge at blairgowrie Apologise to whoever was behing me for about the 15 miles before that. That's what the fuel gauge was showing and i was trying to stay off boost when possible. Car was running on fresh air by the petrol station - so much so that the tracker people phoned me saying that my tracker had gone off

Cheers Andy That was also one of my fave moments of the day, crawling pas the bus, over the bridge...then flooring it past the tourists and changing gear so they got the scooby rumble and the blow-off valve Did see some heads turning!

Thanks for the "you were putting in a good driving display You's were also doing very well with the WRX! 10/10 guys!

My favourite part of the day was that run over the Lecht. Us 5 cars were GONE! Fantastic roads - fantastic driving

Just seen the TVR posts. I wasnt on the morning run, but the driving standards i saw in the afternoon were excellent. Was actually pretty impressed with everything yesterday - from the organising thru to the driving, and in particular how it was all done as a club and without any childish bickering that had been appearing over the past couple of weeks.

Everyone had a fantastic day - dont lets spoil it with the bitchin (and the TVR's were prob just jealous of our cars anyway lol!)

Think i'm just recovered now from yesterday!

Had an EXCELLENT day out - MASSIVE thanks to Grant, Imy, and Andy for organising such a good event and finding those fab roads

lol at getting to the "ball" . yep indeedy folks, my brother arrived at my door at around 6.30am with 2 of his mates, having not yet been to bed, asking "do ya want the turbo done then?!". Car was returned by 9.45 am, with my new turbo fitted , all fluids/tyre pressures etc done too, and the job's a good un Anyone who was behind me thru the Lecht yesterday will know how good the car was running Considering the car's been locked in the garage for 5 months, and then had a broken turbo on Thursday night - it was a freggin miracle the car and I made it! He's had today to recover...and tomorrow night i'm off to Knockhill for the Ladies Track Night Poor Car!

Not sure if i can afford the labour costs from sunday morning tho...total labour cost for 3 mechanics working on the car & fitting new turbo = 3 cooked breakfasts

GUTTED! I''m gonnae have to take me name of the list

Been having some "technical" difficulties - the oil seals went on my turbo on late Thursday night and kindly donated all the oil from my turbo to the road! Mad rush (and very stressful!) trying to get a TD05 turbo locally yesterday, and last night was successful. Collected today, but there's just no way that we're gonna get it fitted in time for tomorrow - no matter how much i plead my mechanic/aka my brother! Especially since we're going to see Star Wars tonight, and then he's going on the pish!, so he wouldnt even go for the all-nighter plan! Totally devastated!!

Have been asked to attend as a passanger, but dont think i can face seen everyone else playing with their toys, and i cant!

Anyone else here who's going to the MARVELLOUS MAY HIGHLAND GATHERING who's North of Perth?

Myself and Gee WR1 are heading down for this, and i've been one of the chosen few the Squirrel entrusted with details of the route, so we could arrange a suitable meeting point instead of heading all the way down the boring A9. (Dont anybody bother sending me any Pm's requesting details of the route - i will not be bribed )

If anyone else is going who's North of Perth, we going arrange to meet up, and then meet the rest of the peeps at the secret location!
