Can any Scottish peeps help a damsell in distress?!

We're going to the Knockhill Rally on the 17th July clicky to thread

Not been local to Knockhill we've desperately been looking for accommodation close to Knockhill, as we have to be there on Sat for scrutineering, then early back there on Sun morn (sign-on closes at 7.30am!), and i want to stay in bed for as long as possible!

But cant get anywhere! Tried all the travellodge type places, but all full!

Does anyone have any suggestions of places for us to try?

Any help much appreciated.

Anyone else going to the Knockhill Uk Rally Challenge this year?

It's always an excellent event.

We usually go as spectatotors but this year my brother is competing, so we're part of his "team"!

Its on sunday 17th July (unfortunately same day as Fast & Modified), but'll be well worth going.

Cant beat hearing the Scoobies and MkII Escorts giving it loads

Also an excellent spectators event - no wading through snow, or muddy forests - and food on site! We even got sunburnt last year!!!

This years rally will also be a tribute to Alan Barr, and Jimmy Macrae will be driving his Subaru.

i admit to posting O/T stuff sometimes, a bit of light-hearted banter does everyone some good.

But i had a quick log on late last night, and saw exactly what the pic John posted up showed, the same person replying to EVERY thread. Had a quick look at 1st few, and they were just a reply etc, got bored and never bothered with the rest and logged off again.

It could be quite possible that you have something to say on quite a few threads, but every-single-one is just taking the p~ss!

"Hello. Unfortunately this Saturday's Hot Hatch Trackday has been cancelled. Track maintenance works scheduled for Friday are taking longer than anticipated and the track will not be in a useable condition on Saturday.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Any drivers with bookings will be contacted.

Once again we apologise for cancelling the trackday. Sunday's Stock Car event will not be affected and will run as planned."

Afraid it does! Had been scorching weather all afternoon going down - just as well i had a fleece in the car!

Also, no hand held cameras (by both drivers(!) and passengers) anymore. Must be mounted. We had the camera & videocamera down, but thats why we never got any pics/footage

BTW Playsatan - other than urs, thats another TWO STI Type R's now, BOTH in black, BOTH driven by women, and BOTH of us have made it round Knockhill WITHOUT spinning off at the hairpin rotffpmsl!

Track Night was fab Only about 15 cars, and 5 bikes. Cars went out for 20 min session, and then bikes went out for 20 minute session, and so on. Was perfect track conditions - quiet, dry, and good weather.

And see the Porsche in the 3rd pic - nailed it every time down the straights

So, guess where i'm off to 2morr night?
