|Extreme Motorsport seem pretty decent but they're based in Whitburn.

I picked up some new alloys yesterday and today I've just bought 4 toyo proxies T1R, 225 40 18, for £355 from camskill delivered. Silly question time, when I've had new tyres fitted on my old 17's the fitters would always put those ugly weights on the outside of the rim during wheel balancing. Are there situations where these weights have to go on the outside of the rim, or should they be using the stick-on weights on the inside of the rim? I don't want ugly weights on the outside of my nice PFF7's. Thanks

T1-R wear much better than T1-S. My 03 STI would wear the outer edges of the S in 9 months, the R's are wearing much better due to the harder compounds\edges etc... I wouldn't like to have mixed tyres on my car. You might find the car a tad tail happy with grippy rubber on the front and worns on the rear.

I got to say I think the complete opposite, you hardly notice the black splitters, they just merge with the road surface.

My scott lowe splitter has been on the car for over a year now and it has only suffered 2 slight scrapes. Slow down for sleeping policemen though! Especially of you ever go to the asda in Livingston

I have the Scott Lowe splitter on my 2003 STI and it transformed the front end. Looks great colour coded instead of plain black like a lot of people have.
