  1. Hi Rudi, welcome to the forum! Where abouts are you in Austria? I'm living in South Germany by the Bodensee! Hmmm, can't think of any :cough:Silvrettapass:cough:
  2. It depends on how you produce the hydrogen! This for example would be a great solution... although I can see some protests from the oil companies! http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/01/the_solarpowere.php The other side is that, as yet, very little research has been made into improving the efficiency of producing hydrogen. I'm sure with a bit of investment, they could vastly improve the carbon emissions from hydrogen production. Also, you shouldn't just compare the carbon costs of hydrogen production to the exhaust levels of a car alone, but you also have to add in the carbon cost of the fuel refining process and the transportation of the crude oil and so on. There are no raw material transport required for Hydrogen!
  3. Happy Birthday Kenny! Have a good'n!
  4. Or get out and enjoy the spring air
  5. Welcome to the forum! Sounds like a really interesting project, Hydrogen is the future IMHO!
  6. Yeah, you were a lot slower, he did it in 0 min 9 seconds! Fastest ever lap of the ring! Think putting the stopwatch between his legs may not have been the best place for it!
  7. At least you were going faster than he was! Do you really think its a newbie thing or just people in Litchfield cars
  8. Not yet, but I did have an issue with one on my 03 STI after about a year of running! Its very uncommon to get a worn out bearing so soon, but certainly not impossible! Are you still on the original Dunlop tyres? I had major issues with uneven tyre wear and have seen the same problem on every early 08 I've seen. The tread blocks were wearing more at the back than the front causing a kind of zig-zag or saw-tooth profile to the tyre. The result was a lot of tyre noise and really bad handling. If you rub your hand around the tyre, you can feel the high spots, in the worst case, you can actually see the wear!
  9. Don't think there is much difference between the 04 and 05 models, possibly just minor tweeks. The changes 03->04 and 05->06 were bigger! I've never heard of any complaints about the handling on the 05 (or any other) cars. My advice would be to go for the car thats in the best condition and represents the best value for money! ...oh and welcome to the forum
