  19. Bloke was short of money and didn't care for his wife any more so thought that he could solve both problems by insuring her life then having her bumped off. Took out the policy then set about finding someone to kill her. Eventually found a hitman called Artie who said he'd do the job for £5000 but insisted on money up front. Bloke said he had nothing until insurance came through. Artie asked for a deposit but all the bloke had was a pound coin tucked in the corner of his wallet. Feeling sorry for him, he accepted the £1 coin and said he would leave the rest until after the job was done. Couple of days later, Artie is stalking the wife in Tesco's. When she walks up the fresh produce aisle he seizes the opportunity to grab her round the neck and start throttling her. Unfortunately for him, the manager sees whats going on and tries to help but instead gets strangled for his troubles. Even worse for Artie the whole incident is on cctv and eventually he's overpowered by security staff until the police arrive and he's taken away. A week later he appears in court and the headlines appeared in the local paper . . . . . . . . . . . Artie chokes 2 for a £1 in Tesco :

  22. Pete invites his mum round for tea and to meet his new flat-mate Joe who she notices is very handsome and perhaps a little 'camp'. Although she'd suspected her son to be gay it was something he'd always denied - he simply referred to John as his flat-mate. A week later Joe was unable to find the frying-pan and said to Pete "Since your mum came round last week the frying-pan has been missing" Pete emailed his mum and asked if she'd taken it. "Dear mum, I'm not saying you did take the frying-pan, I'm not saying you didn't take the frying-pan but it's been missing ever since you came here for tea, love Pete" She replied "Dear Pete, I'm not saying you are sleeping with Joe, I'm not saying you're not sleeping with Joe, but if he'd been using his own bed this past week he'd have found the fecking frying-pan by now, love mum"
  23. Might know someone - will speak to him when I get in tonight and get back to you if he's interested
  24. Think most people know those speed cameras work under Canary Wharf so keep to the limits in there
  25. Was a good night although it seemed the logistics of leaving Ace Cafe, getting on to the north circular then getting caught up at Hangar Lane lights inevitably meant groups being split up right at the start. Luckily me, T123vor and Dunks were following a guy who seemed to know where we were supposed to be going so he got us to the group waiting by the Albert Hall. Then went through the West End which was fun and attracted considerable attention but for whatever reason (unless it was planned) the car at the front then went over Westminster Bridge and regrouped on Waterloo Bridge. Next lead car then went through Strand u/pass and around Holborn area then back over Waterloo Bridge before conceding him and his mate didn't know where we were going! I then led along the embankment through Limehouse Link and Blackwell Tunnel but only two cars arrived at the O2 About 25 cars there, mainly groups A and B. Moral of this tale - take a co-driver who has a basic understanding of the route or can at least read the plans
