  1. I thought they were - totally ridiculous!! That really was taking it WAY to far You sellin the AP's? Brian
  2. << << Owned for 27 months and still nearly standard - is that a miracle? >> I think I beat you there.. unless you count a dump valve, 19's and a samco hose?? >> What about the brakes???? They not count. My car going well - in for the unfaultable gearbox complaint at the moment and getting a Prodrive front splitter fitted, so should look the business. Brakes shortly I hope and, if that happens, new wheels too - not ridiculously big 19's though!!!!! Nice P1 just sold at Ian Grieve Subaru, Falkirk. Who eventually did you engine rebuild? Brian
  3. Gus, Did you buy the front splitter from Subaru @ Ian Grieve??? Mine is in being painted at the moment and should be fitted on my car VERY shortly Brian
  4. True Dave, How's the car(s) going??? Brian
  5. It'll need a LOT of people to make it nationwide - and may take a LONG time. Also, the biggest part of fuel cost is tax, the profit is not that huge so you may, at best only save 5p per litre... Brian
  6. Pictures???
  7. Welcome. Brian
  8. Kushi's in Edinburgh - MY FAVOURITE - I second that suggestion. Superb, award winning food. Or of course the Brewers Fayre does me just fine Brian
  9. Try This or This Brian ;
  10. They do but I did not see the spring kit on the list when I looked. It is £195 including VAT for them so with the SIDC discount £150 odd would be about right.
  11. £150 - bargain - that'll be plus VAT - I think they are about £200 plus about the same again for fitting and gemoetry alignment. I paid £326 from A F Nobles Subaru in Penicuik for mine, supplied, fitted and gemoetry done (WITH NO SIDC discount GRRRRR!!! ). Brian
  12. I had my geometry recently done on the brand new gear at Subaru/Mitsubishi Specialists Extreme Motorsport, in Whitburn, Just off Junction 4 of the M8 - they are very good and Geordie really knows his stuff. I think it is £15 for the checks and £15 per adjustment or something like that. Well worth getting done - that and a spring kit (I have Prodrive) with rear drop links. Brian
  13. Get a full geometry set-up done. Tere are several good places that will do this - will help the handling and offset this kind of wear. Brian
  14. Yeah - I'd buy that. Cost relative to what it is, how it's packaged, distributed, but keeping it under £10 for a well packed, posted item and circa £5 for a DVD-R version. Who'd edit it etc? Brian
  15. I'm away oot to wash the courtesy car It's dirty...
  16. Awwwwww shucks - we're not all horrible in here Mostly...
  17. Jeez - that RUFF clip - that Porsche has seriously light looking steering - don't fancy that much - but a lot of feedback, maybe too much. Brian
  18. Remember that in some ways we are trying to address many regions though at once, although in reality we are addressing the Glasgow meet location Brian
  19. No problem. This is for you: Click Here for wheel and body protection Brian
  20. Thaks Phil - that is helpful and constructive comment Brian
  21. Ian - you can't even see her black eyes - I keep being distracted by the bouncing action Brian
  22. Sorry Andy - it was entirely tongue in cheek and I apologise if you have taken any offence - not meant to be in the least confrontational, hence all the daft smiley faces. I have now edited it. Gumball-esque humour!! Brian
  23. << A wee idea. How about every third meet or so do a wee shownshine comp with the winner getting a free meal that night. Have something for the evening to focus on each month and bring everyone together with plenty of argueing. Or best new mod dirtiest car biggest dent.. I don't know >> Quite like that idea... Why don't we email Essex Scoobies as they are very active and see what they get up to - or just check out their forums. I am sure Tiny would give us a few hints. Brian
